I have an Early 2011 Macbook Pro 15" i7

-Magsafe 85w charger-

The other day (About 2 weeks ago) I went to move the laptop and the charger got stuck and tore the protective rubber off of the cord.

Well, I didn't notice it. I went to move to it again and the charging wire sparked right where you would plug it into the MacBook. This shut my macbook down completely.

Working at Geek Squad previously, I know when that happens, it can NEVER be a good thing.

So I waited a few seconds, then powered the computer back on. Everything booted up properly with no issues whatsoever. Hard drive remained untouched.

It was confusing. So naturally I threw the charger away and let my laptop sit with occasional use over the next 5-6 days, just to get some last surfing and such on the battery before I had to purchase a new one.

Is it possible that, that spark could have hurt/fried any component on the motherboard?

Typically I edit videos, record commentary etc on it before the spark. Naturally, I didn't want to push my computer to edit videos without a charger and get less life out of it.

I'm just afraid that when I go to edit videos or push the computer to it's limits (like it has been used in the past), if it'll shut itself down again because of something on the MB.

Like I said, I was able to visit facebook, youtube, amazon, without any issues. But those tasks are pretty basic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys

Okay. I'm going to do my best to explain this haha

My 2003 Mustang GT convertible has power seats on the driver side.

The buttons that you use in order to control the seat is positioned on the front of the seat itself.

The housing that hold the buttons themselves has broken away from the seat and now is only being held on by the wiring.

I need to find that replacement part. It's an oval-esque type design.

I've been looking for forever for this part and have had no luck

Here's the thing.

I have a 2003 GT convertible mustang, far from stock.

Its pushing right around 380hp

Well I want to send it in to Ford and get it back to factory look.

Meaning I want to send it in and have them, instead of a GT package, put the Mach 1 cosmetics package on it. I love the way the motor runs and feels i just love the cosmetic look of the Mach 1 and i want to convert my GT into one of them.

I want the:

Paint Job (Pastel Blue with the Mach 1 stock decals)

New Convertible Top

All Mach 1 extras such as emblems, grill, (rims are perfect right now)

Basically just a conversion.

I wanted to know where I can do this because I do want it to be professionally done.

I searched Ford to email them but there are no ford dealers in my area

So I came here to ask for a bit of help.

i got a sony vaio for christmas just this last year but unfortunately someone rooted it. Meaning they can access any passwords or data on my laptop. I LOVE this laptop.

How do i reformat my entire laptop and get it back to system default settings?

i tried to put some movies onto my ipod classic 80gb and right as i clicked and dragged the movie it said my ipod does not support this video type. ? . Keep in mind that i did go to advanced and converted the video using that option and it worked but now all there is, is just sound and there is no video whatsoever. I still have about 45 gigs on my ipod left so it is not a problem with my memory. Please anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

A year ago i went to a U of A red vs. blue game and Jason terry was playing after the game to threw about 20 Jet Collection collared shirts into the crowd (i cant even find them online, so they must be really rare). Well anyway i caught one of them and after the game i got it signed by him. The shirt hasn't been worn and the signature is authentic. is this case for a psp 1000 (fat) or a psp 2000 (slim). I think its for a fat only because the speaker openings are towards the bottom of the case and the slim speakers are at the top.
