This may sound foolish, but I'm worried about oil this winter & am trying to cut costs. My roommate is a great roommate accept when it comes to the electric bill. He leaves the coffee pot on a few times a day & his computer running all of the time. I called the electric company & was told that just these 2 things could run me an extra $30 a month. I don't want to be a nag or lose him so, should I bite my tongue? I own the home & everything is included in the rent. Thank you!

My parents are elderly & I would like them to have a phone in the car for traveling. I can't afford a cell phone. I just want something they can use a few times a year. I also need something simple. Thank you! Clare

I own a 4 month old, male, Eclectus. I previuosly fostered a female, 1 year old. I'm not new to avian ownership by any means but, am new to this difference in feeding an Eclectus. I took him right away to an Avian Vet who told me to feed plenty of fresh veggies, very little fruit & Harrison's pellets. However, I hear differently from these chat boards & I'm confused. I know about toe tapping & all of that, but is it really bad to feed some pellets at night? My bird eats them as though they were filet mignoin. LOL. TY! Clare
