We keep it on 'min' or 10... but occasionally it'll go up to 15 or 20 on its own, it looks really old & can't imagine it'd have any mechanism to change itself. Just really really weird. Any ideas?

This happened in my old house, my ex heard it too. When the house was quiet you could hear this noise sometimes coming from an old wooden mirror in the house. Every approximate 25 seconds, a sound I can only describe as a series of very fast ticks decreasing in speed and volume but over a space of a second.

I'm in my new house now & I still hear in in the walls, maybe coming from a shelf. I'm guessing it's a bug or something, what on earth is it??

What am I?

Please help! I've been up all night with this and it's been going on for more than 24hrs now & is beginning to get worse. I'm getting diarrhea like stomach cramps & have to go to the toilet all the time... but hardly anything's coming out... even though it's runny, just unsatisfyingly small amounts. My stomach is just not emptying. Plus it seems to have caused a pile of which I didn't know I had, which makes it sore to wipe. I'm 31 today (celebrations have been cancelled) ;(

It has led on from a strange full-body flu-like ache I had for two days, then this came straight after.

Any input would be great. Thank you in advance.

She's checked through her sister's account, that works fine. But when I view her page, posts from other people are not visible, plus it shows an incorrect value of mutual friends, & won't let me see her other friends. We have discovered that the only way for me to be able to view it correctly is for her to change her privacy settings to public, which obviously isn't a great solution.

Any ideas would be muchly appreciated :)

Ever since my girlfriend & I converted to Timeline, posts have been missing from her wall. It's fine vice versa... but a couple people have posted on her wall & I even tagged her in my status but none of the posts are showing on my phone, whether through the Facebook app or through the Safari browser. If I go on another computer they show up. Why is this?

Is this normal behaviour? I work & she doesn't, I've told her I need sleep but she doesn't respect that & wakes me up with a disrespectful 'Oi!' each time & makes me roll over to cuddle her. Fair enough it's good to cuddle but all she has to do is cuddle me, not rudely awaken me each time, making me tense & making it hard to go back to sleep. We've had arguements & I've almost stormed out in the middle of the night because of it when I've refused to cuddle her for waking me up like that. But she's still doing it & sees it as my fault, when I have no control over what I'm doing when I'm sleeping! I need help & opinions please... thanks in advance

I have been with mine just under a year, we have argued A LOT in the past, but now we're down to maybe 3 arguements a week on a bad week... is that bad?? :s

She's mid-twenties, I know she loves me very much but I'm feeling totally uncomfortable & frustrated by the fact that they have to go out clubbing dressed this way, mimicking that St Trinians movie. It was her friend's idea. I don't think she'd allow me to dress provocatively if the shoe was on the other foot, it's a bit much. But she has children & doesn't get much time to herself so I don't want to sound like the grumpy, possessive boyfriend. But it's really getting to me & I know that when I'm at home waiting for her on Friday night it's going to be very hard :( What are your opinions?

It's a high-pitched whistle, does anybody know what's wrong? I've taken the fan out and cleaned it as I found some info that it might be that. But it's still happening. It started intermittent now it's just constant. It sounds a little like the constant tone of a ZX Spectrum loading, but the nearest I could find similar is like this:

The noise isn't coming from the speakers but actually from within the tower. Please please help!

I hope someone knows, but my automatic behaves a little bit erratically on the motorway. I get to around 70mph and the revs start going up and down from about 3000rpm to 3500 rpm back down to 3000rpm over and over again. If I accelerate or decelerate it usually stops but I can't stay a constant 65-70mph without it happening. It's really irritating and quite an uncomfortable ride. Does anyone know what this is and how to solve it? Please help!
