Name for a classy/trendy pet retail store?
I'm trying to think of a name for an upscale yet hip pet retail store, and I'm drawing a blank. The store will be mostly black and white, no cardboard displays, no clutter ect... but it will also be owned by two young, tattooed women, so we would like it to be hip/trendy too. No cutesy 'fluffy puppy' type names please! We will be carrying dog supplies, and few if any cat supplies. Thanks so much!
2 AnswersDogs1 decade agoIf Edgar Allan Poe owned a retail pet store, what would he name it?
I'm writing a short story for class about Edgar Allan Poe's life if he owned a pet supply store. It is written in a serious tone, so serious answers please! I would prefer the name to have reference to Poe or his poems, but I can't seem to be able to think of any!! Thanks so much.

1 AnswerBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoCan I take a Honda Element from California to Canada when I move?
I am moving from California to Canada and wanting to buy a Honda element before the move. Can I take it with me over the boarder and register it in canada? My dad seems to think that there will be issues with the smog and environmental laws, since he thinks that they differ from the US to canada. Any ideas where I can get information on this? Thanks in Advance!!
4 AnswersHonda1 decade agoHow can I learn to debate like Bill Maher?
After watching Religulous, I want to learn how to debate like Bill Maher. He seems to intelligent and well spoken. Are there books I can read to become more educated on the subject of religion? (besides the bible and all that!!) I take the same stance that Mr. Maher does, and would love to be able to debate as well as he does! Any suggestions would be wonderful!
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoHelp writing a resume?
I need help writing a resume for University admission. I have to write one because I have been out of school for more than 2 years. I have written my objective -"to obtain an undergrad degree in English". Next I have my education, only my high school education. Should I include my middle school and elementy school education?
Next I have my work experiance listed. I listed all the jobs I have had, dates of employment, position, and responsabilities.
thats all ive got. Is that good? Do i need to make my objective longer? anything else i need to include? I am really stuck, and have no idea if this is good, or terrible!?
thanks in advance for any help!
1 AnswerOther - Education1 decade agowriting off mileage as independent contractor?
I am a mobile dog groomer working as an independent contractor. I drive about 80 miles a day to an RV park where the grooming van is located and work in that city. When i am in that city, I hand out buisness cards and walk around in a company smock with their logo in my own car. So i do advertising while I am there. Can i write off my 80 mile a day mileage? I cannot do advertising in my city, i have to do it in the city that i work. i think i should be able to write it off, but im not sure....help would be greatly apreciated! I am in california
6 AnswersUnited States1 decade agomoving to canada and buying a house?
I am planning on moving to Canada sometime mid-2009. I currently live in california, and am wondering if I will be able to buy a home in Canada. How does the credit system work? I have OK credit in the US, not stellar. I am planning on having a 3% down payment and have had a job in the same proffession (dog grooming) for about 4 years. I will have a job before I move, but will not have started it yet. I would like to purchase the home before i move, so I can just pack up and drive there and settle in! Is this possible? any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
6 AnswersOther - Canada1 decade agoWhere should I move to in Canada?
I was born and raised in Canada, but currently live in California (which sucks....) and am looking to move back. This is what I am looking for -
-small town
-all 4 seasons (none of this "hot, hotter or rain" california seasons!)
- housing for the low 100,000s (upto 150,000)
-not Ontario ( Thats where i grew up, looking for something different)
Also, I am a dog groomer, so I would need someplace with lots of pets and people who can afford to have their pets groomed!
Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated! For some reason I am leaning towards the east coast...
If you could include some information on the city with your answer that would be great! "Where and Why" is what I am looking for!
Thank you so much in advance, and Happy Canada day!
