It seems that terms like, please, yes please, no thanks, excuse me, pardon me, sorry, thank you, welcome, etc. have become obsolete. My parents taught me well and there was never any moment where I would be running around and screaming in a store. I have seen parents with kids that do that and instead of controlling them, they simply tune it out because they are too busy text messaging or talking on their cell phone about what club they're going to and that it is not a problem that they can't find a babysitter because as long as the kid is in front of a tv with a large mixing bowl or dog bowls are full of cereal they will be fine all by themselves. They are the same parents who say their kids are so wonderful and so smart........seriously?? Then they get bent out of shape when they hear someone mutter under their breath, "were these kids raised in a barn?"
