  • If restaurant owner fires an employee for policy violation (excessive tardiness) say the following?

    type of statements below after termination, can I do something about it? Being said on public forums or social media to others:

    "... Get the F*** Out of that place! I heard you guys barely have hours.....Lol F*** that High School Job!"

    "i work at XXX, how manly is that."

    What would you do or recommend? I certainly don't want these type of negative comments to be floating around. Would this be a type of libel issue?Are these comments classified as something. We don't want negative comments being said especially if they aren't true or from disgruntled employees.
