Diaganosed with major depression but I have most of the symptoms of bipolar disorder...?

I've been feeling like I'm on a emotional roller coaster, one minute I'm up.. the next I'm bawling

I felt depressed, hopeless, worthless nearly every day since I was 13 ( I am a 19 year old female by the way), I don't have as much energy and I get irritable and tend to react to people harshly without meaning to, sometimes my mind will race and I'll talk really fast and be really optimistic, and feel sleep is unnecessary

My psyc diagnosed me with major depression, but what about the "up's"?

I don't understand how one day I can have a whole bunch of energy and want to do a whole bunch of things, and the next be exhausted and not want to do anything but sleep.

P.s. I do not do any drugs or drink alcohol!

  • Phone data usage question?

I have a samsung windows SGH i917R phone and I was wondering the APPROXIMATE data usage of the following:

-Skype calls (from mobile to computer, skype to skype calling format), how much data approximately does it use per minute of skyping?

-Whatsapp- how much data will it use to send basic text messages that include no pictures or anything, just letters and words.

    -Facebook, just sending inbox messages

-Checking mail accounts on google/internet (such as yahoo and hotmail)

also what is the advised amount of data I should get for my phone if I plan on using the above stated. Probably sending 70 whatsapp messages a day (I probably wont send that much but just to be safe). Spending 45 minutes skype-to-skype calling (NOT every day, just all together for that month). Checking facebook for maybe 15 minutes a day. and checking mail accounts everyday, maybe sending a reply message or two every day!

I know that there is only approximate answers,... I will be thankful for any and all answers :) I really REALLY have no cluse how much data to expect using and knowing how much to get

  • Eating before a random blood glucose test?

Ok, so I went to the doctor today, and told her what was going on ( I wrote about it in my other question posted if you would like to read about it )... anyways she ordered a couple different blood tests to be done. and one of them was a random blood glucose test... I know its random so they don't care when you last ate.. but my mom gave me a sugar covered donut like 10 minutes before I went... will this the results ?... I know that it's supposed to be random.. but it was a sugar covered donut.. :P ... will this matter?

  • Best Foundation for Summer?

First off I live in Canada (so you know what brands are available)

I have oily skin for the most part, and acne-prone skin. I am looking for a foundation that has enough coverage to cover some of my acne redness (its not everywhere, and its not extremely horrible), something that will look natural, I have a fair skin tone. My skin usually doesn't like make up.. I don't mean it makes me break out.. I mean that it always looks fake and I can never get to to be even, no matter how much/little, what brand, if I use brushes/finger, or with a primer. I think its because my skin is so oily, it makes the make up want to fall off.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what brands I should try out ?..

    Thanks :)

  • What are these Symptoms of ?

Ok so I'll try to explain what is happening (I'm sorry if this is long, but please take the time to read, I'd appreciate it so much)

So a couple weeks ago I was in the city with my step-dad and we took his mom to the hospital because she had to have a eye operation. During the time when the operation was taking place we went to the mall, and then came back. I didn't do anything unusal that day, I wasn't thirsty or hungry (I also had a drink and cookie in my purse, so I know that if I felt hungry/thristy I would of consumed them :P ). At the end when we came to pick my grandma up we were just sitting there with her ( the nurse had to tell us some things, like when she had to take the medication and stuff) and then after maybe 10 minutes I started getting dizzy and blurred vision and I was really thirsty, and 5 minutes after that started it was time for us to leave.. and I thought the dizzyness and everything would go away after standing up.. but no it didn't ... about 6 or so steps later I said to my step dad "can I have some water" and then the next thing I blacked out/ fainted. Thankfully it was in a hospital and they gave me juice and water and monitored me for a hour and said that I should be alright as long as it doesnt happen again. We have no idea why it happened. I was also extremely pale when I woke up (note that I was out for under a minute.. so not very long)

Ever since then I've been getting dizzy/lightheaded every couple days.. It hasn't gotten quite as bad as it was in the hospital, but one time the feeling was pretty strong.. and every couple days I'll get lightheaded and pale. and I've had episodes of genital itching( not alot, only a couple and usually at night ) . I've also had I've been drinking lots of water ( I think more than I normally did, because I'm more thirsty, therefore using the washroom more often) and eating enough and I don't know why this is happening.

Ohh and I'm also alot more tired lately, even if I get lots of sleep..

    Should I be concerned??

I am planning to go to New Zealand at the end of the month on a schooling program (I live in Canada) and I just want to make sure that if this is something serious that I get it sorted out before my departure.

I don't want to be the person who goes to the doctor and freaks out about everything, but more importantly I don't want to be the person who ignores the signs of something serious.

Please advise me to whether you think this is serious, or whether its something that I shouldn't be concerned about.

P.s. I'm an 18 year old girl :), and I'm definitely not pregnant ( Just thought I should make sure to rule that one out :P ) lol.

    Thank you for reading !
