The bios on my old hard drive were corrupted so I was having problems loading windows. So I bought a new hard drive because it needed an upgrade and because the problem may have been a failed hard drive and not corrupted bios. Any advice as so how to transfer the files?

My computer will not fully boot up. I have found that if I turn it off many times it will eventually boot up. However, this trick no longer works for me.

To clarify: I would turn my computer on. I get the error. I turn it off and back on again with the error. I repeat this about 20 times and then randomly boots up normally.

I get to window that says "press f2 or press f 10" and has a large gateway logo. After this window a screen that says "A bootable device has not been detected. Please refer to the Product Guide at http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desk... I can do nothing after this

I have cleaned out the computer of dust (for possible static issues). I have tried starting the computer without the keyboard or mouse. I do not have a recovery disc. I have checked and the SATA and all other cords and they are all plugged in firmly. I have tried to unplug the computer wait awhile and plug it back it.

The graphics card has been upgraded. A new power supply was put in. A wireless card was added. These components were added 2 years ago and I have not had problems with them.

I do not know anything about graphics cards, they seem to have enough memory but are the graphics good enough to play on a med level with a decent fps say around sixty???
