A survey of needy and disabled youths showed that 53% of those who had no preschool education were arrested or charged with a crime by the time they were 19, whereas only 28% who had preschool education wound up in this category. The survey did not specify what percentage of the youths in the survey had preschool education, so let us take a guess at that and estimate that 25% of them had attended preschool. (Round all answers to the nearest 1%.)
(a) What percentage of the youths arrested or charged with a crime had no preschool education?(b) What would this figure be if 75% of the youths had attended preschool?

The vast majority of Visa and Discover Card credit cards have 16-digit card numbers. The first digit is either 4 (Visa) or 6 (Discover), digits 2 through 6 identify the issuer, digits 7 through 15 identify the customer, and the last digit is a "check digit" determined by the digits that precede it. Your company, CreditXplosion, Inc., issues both Visa and Discover credit cards.
a)
How many different CreditXplosion cards are possible?
b)How many different CreditXplosion Discover card numbers are possible in which the check digit is wrong?
