  • Best Places to Strike Around Football Pads?

    Hey Ask community!

For all of you martial artists and football players out there, I'd like to know where some of the best places to strike in order to maximize trauma when taking into consideration football pads. With the chest and shoulders covered, where are some other easy place to hit?

Accessibility and ease in landing these strikes should also be taken into consideration. All suggestions should take into account the starting position of a three-point stance.

    Thanks!

  • Your Personal Experience with the Supplement Creatine?

    Hello Ask Community!

I'm a varsity athlete seeking to increase my performance for next year. I've been using Creatine for a while, and haven't been able to find an indepth study based synopsis regarding its use.

How does Creatine work, and how does it effect the body? What chemical properties allow it to enhance lifting gains. Effects of different dosages and what other supplements would pair well with its use? Are there any natural alternatives to Creatine?

Furthermore, I've heard that in the professional baseball brackets, that Creatine has resulted in more severe and more easily strained muscles. Is there any truth in this?

Finally, I'd love to hear your personal story regarding Creatine and other supplements that have helped you as an athlete!

  • Pre-Emptive Heart Bypass Surgery?

Would it be feasible for one to have pre-emptive heart bypass surgery to mitigate the risk of unforseen death by heart attack? Are the costs worth the benefits, and is it feasible under the current U.S. medical system.
