Back when Everquest was new there was a lot of grumbling about how you had to do everything as a group .. soloing was very difficult and inefficient. I'm actually looking for that style of play again. Seems like most MMO's I've tried since have been very lonely experiences. It's hard to find people to socialize with because people can get what they want running around solo.

So.. anything fairly modern out there that emphasizes grouping? I've played EQ (not 2), DAoC, WoW, CoH, and easily 2 dozen others. Presently doing EVE but it's pretty boring.

Is there any statistical data to support the notion that people whose astrological pairings fare any better in long term relationships?

Well, I'm sure there data is out there, but has anyone heard of research along these lines?

I'm always looking for more inspiration.

I don't think I've seen a single case where someone had connected to more people than have connected to them, which doesn't seem to be possible. I'm guessing it has a lot to do with people's accounts getting suspended.

What are some things you've done with coworkers that you recommend?

I've built three decks, a stand-alone staircase for the trampoline, a corner table / bookcase combo, a corner cabinet, and some .. naughty equipment.

Should I get tested for viruses before and regularly thereafter?

I've a friend who is in between relationships. He's athletic, decent enough personality and looks, but apparently he's incredibly shy. He's also employed as a software developer (but not especially geeky). So he has brains, cash, youth (~25), and no real defects. And he has cared for a dog for about 3 years now after getting him at a shelter, iirc.

Anyway .. enough about him .. just trying to say he's not a loser.

So back to the question .. what is a good place for meeting others for more than a one night stand?

I could understand if they've kinda trapped themselves by faking so long, and bringing the matter to their attention isn't an easy thing either way.

I'm wondering how the less driven feel about the situation.

I suppose I could speculate on some answers:

- My sex drive is low because he's not fanning my fire.

- They should find a way to lower their sex drive.

- Nothing is wrong with me. Deal with it.

- They don't want to make love, they just want sex!

I’ve seen plenty of hate for cheating partners. I’ve seen plenty of hate (and support) for marriages that invite third parties to their bed. I’ve also seen so many posts by spouses who have forgiven past infidelities.

I am of the opinion that people who have not allowed infidelity to end their marriage are basically now in an open marriage. They just aren’t reaping the potential benefits. Given that, it would be fairly hypocritical to chastise marriages that engage in infidelity without deceit.

Am I way off in that assessment?

On occasion when I run and need to ignore some pain, I’ll think of sex. It’s been a good distraction and arguably a good motivator. Do you think an adults-only gym playing porn on televisions would be a success?

Do you think your spouse would be more amorous or adventurous if they worked out there?

Do you think they’d be more likely to cheat?
