Droconian cuts are causing widespread unrest within Public sector staff there are cries for strikes, protest and more. Management have capped redundancies so even if you have been there 30+ years you will not get a good payout. What can the people do?

I'm trying to find a song. It's by a female and I believe it came out last year. I can't really remember the lyrics but I think it goes something like this:
It's all about love
It's not about the money
the fame or what you wear
sorry for lack of info but lets see how we get on

Why don't we get rid of traffic wardens and employ more community police or neighbourhood wardens.
I was in Lambeth last month and pulled into a parking bay to help an old lady who was being attacked. After chasing off the assailants and retrieving old ladies property for her I returned to find my car had been towed away. It cost me £250 to get it out of the pound I have written to enforcers and they have said they will look into it but i will not hold my breath.

18 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhat is being done to tackle the affects of smoking skunk at a young age?
I am fed up with seeing young people walking around like zombies because politicians have failed to recognise the fact that skunk is not the same as the pot they used to smoke when they were growing up. Also some adults who take it cannot see the harm not realising that a childs developing brain is a lot more succeptiable to hallucigenic afects than adults. A lot of the violence i encounter in my youth work is brought on paronoia from skunk taking.
Please research this as a matter of urgency for all our childrens sakes, do not allow a smaall minority of money grabbing paracites to control our childrens minds.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoShould politicians be paid so much?
Is it right that politicians get such overinflated wages whilst the pillars of society (nurses, teachers community workers e.t.c), have to struggle on peanuts and charitible handouts????
24 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoAre Government policies on how we bring up our children to blame for lack of discipline?
I am a youth and community worker and have done extensive research with 100s of young people. I need to know what other people think. There needs to be a balance between abuse and discipline. Has the pendulam swung too far the other way, how to we get back the "fear factor" that stoped me as a child from wrong doing? Why are adults frightened to pull up a young person acting anti socially? Why are teachers put under a microscope when dealing with young people? Should parents be frightened of social service intervention? or imprisionment?
How do we put right the damage ill thought out policies have caused?
There is no doubt that there is a link between committing violence and enjoying violent images. It doesn't mean that one causes the other.
The games and movies and lyrics might reflect a violent society, but they don't cause it.
