I live in NH and have my 2 boys enrolled in a licensed daycare facility. The boys are 3 & 5. They have been enrolled for over a year now. The daycare is shutting down for a week this summer and is still charging me full price for the week. Is this legal? Do I have to pay even though the daycare is closed? I can understand paying if I choose not to bring my boys while I go away on vacation. I am taking my boys on vacation the week after the daycare shutdown week. I am currently paying over $1600 a month in childcare expenses and am required to bring them lunches 4 days a week. Does anyone know if this is legal or if there is any action I can take?

My daughter's father is in jail for statutory rape. His mother wanted to see the child. After much thought i allowed. She assured me there would be no contact between child and "father". Child is 10 and been through enough with father being there when convenient for him. grandma coaxed child into talking with inmate father, saying she needed to hear his side of story. I feel very betrayed. I told grandmother that if there was one slip up visitations would stop. now she is threatening taking me to court for grandparents visitation rights. What are the laws. She doesn't see any wrong in her actions. Need some reassurance. HELP

my 8yr old daughter was at her fathers house over the weekend. There was an 8yr old boy visiting with his mother. My x and the boys mother were outside drinking beer and smoking. The little boy took my daughter into the bathroom and asked her to have sex with him. she said no he forced her to take her pants down and violated her. I called social services and reported it. What can I do to get justice for what her son did to my daughter? I have paid for doctors visit and will be needing to get her counseling. Should my x be held responsible? social services said that my x was not at fault and that i should still allow my daughter to go there. I need some unbiast advice.

my step dad molested me when i was a child. my mother knew about it but no one reported it. my mother continued to be married to him and let him move back in after awhile. I am still bothered by this 15yrs later. I am thinking about reporting it now. would my mother get in any trouble for letting him get away with it?

my x is on disability, working under the table. court ordered to pay $50 a month. state won't help bcuz he's collecting benefits. he was found in contempt for not paying. judge ordered him to pay thru the state. the state won't get involved so he gets away with not paying. the judge should have known that the state can't do anything. the letter was in our file. he keeps getting chance after chance. now i have to file all over again. he was already found in contempt. is this right? the judge did not review our case history at all. some legal advice please.
