Is it weird to name a son after a sibling?
My boyfriend and his brother are not close, and the name in question is not at all common. I’m not saying like “Nicholas” or “Christopher”, this is a fairly unique name that will be sure to draw comparisons. I have no idea why his brother would want to use the name since, again, they don’t particularly get along, but is my boyfriend wrong for being a bit disgruntled about the whole thing?
The brother’s wife Is not even pregnant, yet, by the way, they just, like, mentioned that’s their plan.

3 AnswersBooks & Authors1 year agoWhat’s the name of this old, classic movie- plot below.?
I’m sure I saw it on TCM- there was a young man who’s father had money, he was a banker or a landlord. He takes up with and eventually gets married to this young girl (maybe she was scandalous, maybe she just, like, had a job?) against his father's wishes. Then the guy goes to the war (and possibly dies?). Then his father decides to be nice to his wife and takes care of her. Maybe she’s pregnant? I can’t recall.
1 AnswerMovies1 year agoBook about a formerly successful New York business woman (PR?) who is fired and moves to a small town in New England, possibly Maine?
She s initially draw to the location by an online dating profile (if I remember correctly), but finds her own way once she a there and makes friends. Possibly they take a cooking class together, but she definitely assimilates into small town life and meets a guy. I think she s offered her old job back after the fuss from her blunder has died down and she s faced with the decision of whether or not to take it and leave her new life.
2 AnswersBooks & Authors4 years agoWhat's the phrase that means?
It's sounds like blust and blunder or something, although it's obviously not that, but it means like if someone fakes not caring about something, but really does. Used in a context like "For all his B&B Joe really did care about his grades". I cannot for the life of me think of the words, hope one of you can(:
