What do the brackets mean and what do the parenthesis mean? I don't get it.

Another example is a range of [-1,6) and [-1,6].

What is the difference between [x,y] and [x,y) is basically what I'm asking.

what is x in: -8/(7x+9)<0

and what is x in: sqrt(7x+1)=sqrt(x-6)

i lost my regular diablo 2 disk but i found my diablo 2 expansion disk so is it possible that I just torrent the regular diablo 2 and then install and play diablo 2 expansion?

I want to buy an invisible fence but first I want to know if they are reliable. I know what they do as in keep the dog from running away and all but are they safe? I mean if I left my dog to just lay on my front lawn all day, wouldn't someone just steal him? Plus while the person is carrying my dog away, it would hurt my dog with shocks. So I want to know are invisible fences reliable and a good brand if they are reliable.

my dog as you probably know in my other questions is extremely violent and is a BAD DOG. my parents are considering to take him to a humane sociaty to put him to sleep. I really need some intensive or extreme dog training that could even include hitting. he is what i think is called a red zone dog, a dog so dangerous, its almost on the brink of being put to sleep.i dont want some crap like time outs or training lessons. i need REALL STUFF give me a facility or somethinng that has people that teach that dog how to just..change. that ceaser milano (i dunno his name) dog whisperer guy is weird, i dont even think he does anything but apparently all his videos shows some good results but i dont believe it. . my parents think hes a load of bull and i do too. i need something that will make an extreme make over on my dog. hes crazy. i need something like military training for dogs (not actually learning how to fight, just that intense) so give me a website of something

Alright. I have a freakin' viscious golden retriever and he bites me and my parents like he is trying to KILL us. Now don't comment something like "Use bitter apple" and "take him to training" or "close his mouth when he bites and say no" cus I tried and they don't work. THIS IS ONE DANGEROUS GOLDEN. He's like 7-8 months and I really want him to stop biting me.. And please don't post something like "Your a horrible dog owner" cus I'm not. So help me please.

Oh and if I buy a full mouth covering muzzle, will that help? I've heard it stresses out the dog. So Help me get him off biting. He drew blood ONCE. So help. Please don't give me crap that I don't need.

my 7 month old golden retriever has got all his adult teeth, a powerful bite, and an enormous nack to biting my family, mainly my mother (but that's no surprise, who wouldn't wanna bite her). He doesn't just play bite anymore now he is at the stage where he jumps outta nowhere and rapes you with his mouth. I have scars. HELP i know that he is at a very high degree of biting but anyone have tips to get him off biting me and my family?

yesterday I went to a pet store to buy some treats for my puppy. I saw a large bone about half a foot long 2 inches in the middle 3 inches on the ends. it was a hickorey smoked ham bone. I bought it and gave it to him to chew on. The next day while I was away he ate the ends of the bone so now theres only a stub of a middle. do you think its ok if he ate the bone?

Just yesterday I bought a bag of dog treats, and my puppy found them when I was in the bathroom! He ripped open the bag and ate a whole pound of biscuts! Is that ok or will he get sick?
