pls help :(((((((((((( i just started a new school in a new country (america) and i'm a sophomore. i've been going to school for one week now and i don't have any friends. i'm always so lonely walking to classes on my own and eating alone :( in my country/former school i was very social and very popular, but here people just don't care about anything. i'm having so much trouble. everyone is being nice to me but i just smile at them and don't continue the conversation. the main reason i don't talk is because i don't have their accent and i feel like they'll feel like i'm not one of them so they wont want to talk to me. we're entering the second week and i need to step-up. please help i'm really sad. i know how to fake a southern accent when i'm alone or when i'm reading but when it comes to real life i'm too scared that they'll think i'm a faker *sigh*

I'm going to tenth grade and I didn't do my 9th grade in USA so I really don't know how High school is here. I know I need a binder/binders but please how many? Do I need one for every subject? And if I have binders do I still need notebooks? I need so much help, I'm going school shopping soon. Also, do I need a notebook for a subject if I already have a binder? Where is the homework done? Are we allowed to paint our nails in high school? I need to know soooooo much. Any other information will be appreciated. I also need to know if mean girls are real

I really need to know, I've not been in an American high school before. And how many do I need?

This will be my first time of going to an american high school and in my country, we didn't use combination lock lockers in our schools. Can someone tell me how to use it? I don't want to be stranded on the first day of school. I don't know if this helps but it has numbers 0, 5,......

I just moved from Nigeria to america and I'm about to start high school at grade 9. Can anyone give me any information on what to expect , how to act or how to adapt? I'll also appreciate a selection of items I'll need for school and also dress codes. Thanks (I'm going to a public school btw)

I'm a 15 year old Nigerian girl and I used to go to a catholic school in Nigeria where we had to cut our hair like really low , even girls. But now I no longer go to that school and it has been like a month and two weeks since I cut my hair really low like bald and since then my hair has only grown like half an inch. I have been checking and it looks like it has been stuck there. I don't have slow hair growth , my hair grows at normal rate, so I don't know if its because I wear wigs a lot and its compressing my hair or because I have severe dandruff which I now almost have under control by applying a lot of antidandruff cream or maybe it's the weather idk (I'm now in america BTW) please help.
