  • Does anyone have any methods of providing itching relief for dogs?

I have a Boston Terrier that my vet wants to blood test for allergies. The problem is she must not have any antihistamines or steriods, any types of medication for 30 days prior to the blood test. Does anyone know of any means other than these to give her some relief?

  • My puppy is scratching more than usual?

I have a 5 month old Boston that all of a sudden seems to be itchy in her hindquarters. I have checked thoroughly for fleas and can find no evidence of them, and she only seems to be scratching around her rump. We don't like to bathe her too much as I've read it could dry out her skin, but I bathed her last night in case she had gotten into anything that was making her itch. It did seem to help, she seems to be scratching less. Anyone have any idea what might be bothering her? If it continues more than a day or two I will take her to the vet on Monday.

  • Is this unusual dog behavior?

I have a 5 month old female Boston Terrier who is pretty rambunctious, but very sweet. We are currently going to training classes with her now and she has responded well and enjoys them. We don't allow her to sleep with us, but she is allowed on the couch with us. For some reason she likes to climb up and sit on my shoulders, she would sit there and sleep there if I let her, just like a parrot! It seems like odd behavior to me, I've never had a small dog do that before. Does anyone else have a small dog that likes this?
