what to do with a Mother in law who claims she doesn't interfere but does?
She doesn't meddle openly but rather manipulates through suggestion and implication. She doesn't dare make the suggestions to her son but does it through me in quiet corners. Have avoided issues and played dumb to keep the peace. am tired of her insinuations of substandard 'wifeliness', dressing suggestions, child raising abilities etc. always behind a sacharin sweet smile and the dramatic claim that - "oh I would never interfere!!!! - followed by "Do I interfere, dear?"
8 AnswersFamily1 decade agoFemale Shaving - down there!! Whats the best way to deal with itching and unslightly regrowth etc.?
Can't bear waxing- -always reduced me to tears and painkillers. have resorted to shaving. Laser seems too dodgy. But the unslightly bumps, regrowth and itching next day are depressing - any tips on this? Or products to use?
7 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoHow to prevent parental alientation when you dont have contact?
My brothers soon to be ex wife keeps threatening him that he will see the kids as little as possible if she can help it - mediation is about to begin. Their 3 year old son is showing signs of anxiety and confusion and no longer wants to visit my mothers house when he goes there with my brother. Also the mother of the child whispers instruction to him when he speaks on the phone and he says things like 'I won't live with you now only mummy' 'I don't want to see nana' etc etc. It was an acrimonious marraiage but no abuse or anything involve from either side. Just her anger coming through I think.
