My work script was ripped off, what now?

I e-mailed a script to a manager of an electronica group that I like. A couple of their songs came to life for me while I listened to them, as well as with other songs, scenarios, etc.

The first e-mail spawned an interest, asking further details about me. I answered, and sent a second script. A second e-mail came from the manager, which was no more than a stock "out of office/get back to you later" e-mail. Finally, a week of silence, and I gave up on any further correspondence.

That same week I purchased a copyright from WGA, to protect one (the first e-mailed script) of the scripts, neglecting to do so for the second one. Having a hunch, I searched youtube for months, but nothing.

On sunday, my brother alerts me to new video by this outfit, I had ripped off!

In the past, the videos for this group have had NO STORYLINE whatsoever. Just trippy graphics, and visuals, and some nudity. THIS VIDEO had MY David vs. Goliath- type storyline, with the same mood, movements, and feel as was illustrated in MY script. There was even a scene with a monumental punch to the Goliath-type character.

ONLY DIFFERENCE was that this took place as a gun battle of good vs. evil/them vs. a child and a demon; mine was a boxing match of artist vs. Hollywood/ small latino boxer vs. Much bigger hollywood type (an aryan look).

I don't really want to sue, BUT I WANT TO WORK!!! What do/can I do?!

PLEASE HELP, my family and I are STRUGGLING to survive!

P.S. There was NO CREDITED WRITER on the closing credts! Yeah, it was a MINI-MOVIE, which is EXACTLY what my music video scripts are!!!

My DL (driver's license) was suspended as a result. That is, until yesterday. A month ago, I got a "fix it" ticket for a light that "illuminates" my license plate. Well, one month prior I paid for a separate non-moving violation (past my court date) alongside my other monthly bills, only to have the California State tax & Franchise board begin to garnish my wages the same month I was due in court for the "fix it." Well, I couldn't afford to pay it. So, I figured that I'd pay for it again, after my court date (as I did with the prior) a few weeks late. However, I received a notice to my Grandfather's address (My license address) that my license is being suspended, and the bail is $879!!!

How do they come up with that from a light??

I am going to go down there on Monday to see what I can do, but I am worried that:

My three years in college: 1.5 in community/1.5 university (I am currently a University student) will be FOR NOTHING.

I have been supporting a family, and myself all through college, so I cannot afford this!

I am attempting to go through the ATP Airline Pilot Fast-Track Program, which requires the applicant to pass a TEN YEAR airline background check.

WILL I PASS?

Oh my gosh, my heart just dropped! I have gotten myself transfer ready in under a 1 1/2 at the community college level while working full-time and raising a family. For the past two weeks, I have been stressing over picking a University, three accepted me, however, that is now the least of my problems.

I have had a major memory slip in going through all of this craziness! I recently remembered that I attended (barely) college 10 years ago. Long story short, I was accepted into a performing arts conservatory in 2001, but, unfrotunately I had some family circumstances that prevented me from jumping onto the freeway on time, and was asked not to continue. I wasn't sure if they (Conservatory) had dropped me or not, and I didn't care at the time. However, I did the smart thing and checked. Much to my dismay, there are 10 units worth of F's and three units (one class) worth of a B (???). The "B" baffles me since I only attended a third of the semester, as do the "F's" since I figure that they should really be "W's".

REGARDLESS, this sinks my GPA below a 2.0, much less to the required admissions standards.

HOWEVER, there is one more detail. These grades are listed under the WRONG SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!!

Will this be linked me, IF I don't fess up to it?

I am in a dire situation, hence the reason I am zooming through school, so NO I am not looking to do the honest thing, if it is going to hurt MY FAMILY or my progress toward bettering their lives!! If that makes me "stupid," or "bad" or dishonest then so be it.

Answer please, if you know what you're talking about!

Is my only option a tape recorder? Or are there more modern methods? MP3's devices such as cellphones, iPods, etc.; what I would like to do is record the lectures, and then listen to them on ear pieces (earphones); have the ability to replay, rwd, ffwd, etc.. Also, the device would require at enough memory for an entire day worth of lecture or more, or the ability to change the tape or upload onto a file or disk....

I know that some instructors may frown on this, but I am maxing units like you wouldn't believe, and adding this element in my study strategy is the only way that I can better retain all or at least most of the essential information from class. I have one instructor that 90% of my classmates have complained about thus far in regard to changing the slide every 20 seconds during his powerpoint lectures. I'm not going to use for publishing either.

I am light-headed from staring at the computer screen for so long and frustrated because I can not find anything. Are there any web sites out there with Technical definitions, discussions, and diagrams?

I am writing two papers. Both on aircraft systems. One "usual". the other "unusual." I selected the AV-8B Harrier II for the "unusual" system and have found some information. As for the usual SYSTEM I have researched the following aircraft ALONG w/their respective engines: T-6, EA-6B, E-2, F-15, F-35, A-10, Super Tascano (yeah, I know same relative engine as the T-6 along with 4 dozen others) and I have found from little to nothing.

This subject is a beaten dead horse, but I recently decided to just maybe consider quiting, and trying to go the Army WO route, but after being with the recruiter for three hours, a couple things happened...

1. With less than a year of college under my belt, three different guys at the station projected that I would score between an 84-90 on the actual ASVAB (I took the pre-test).

2. The trouble that I'd go through with the process and the pushy recruiter despite not being "age critical" seems the same as being "age critical", and trying for the USMC, USAF, USN, ANG, etc.

The way I see this, I should just wait this out, and give it a shot. I think that I could legitimately could score a 99 or close after graduation and studying.

The recruiter actually wanted me to go MONDAY to take with out studying (what?!?).

I mean wouldn't it be a little more difficult to a guy who is 32 (when I graduate w/my B.A., but scores a 99 ASVAB, a good GPA (3.5 so far), and good physical condition.

And I'm only going to improve... I've heard of guys becoming SNA's at 32 that were non-prior, I just hope that I fit whatever criteria that they met. Is wanting to be in a specific branch and bleeding it's colors enough?? Can you ask for 16 or 20 years?

I don't want to give up.

I'm slated to graduate in 2011. I'll be 31.5. I want to serve my country and my family (support them well), and I also want to be happy with what I do, and do it darn well at the same time. Who wants to sign their life away in a job they settled for? Especially after going through college.

I'll sign on that dotted line to who ever gives me the flight contract. With that said, I'd just like to make it known, I would love to be a marine!! I would love to go through the hell that is USMC OCS! It be worth it knowing that after OCS and TBS, my butt would be in UPT at Pensacola.

When the economy picks up, will the waivers be back? Pilot shortage?
