Need help answering this physics question:

"A chair of weight 135N lies atop a horizontal floor; the floor is not frictionless. You push on the chair with a force of F = 39.0N directed at an angle of 40.0 degrees below the horizontal and the chair slides along the floor.

Using Newton's laws, calculate the magnitude of the normal force that the floor exerts on the chair."

I'm just a bit unsure due to the '40.0 degrees BELOW the horizontal' part.

What I would've done is 135-39sin40 but is that correct? Please explain.

Hi, there is a photo in a public Facebook page I want to share (it's for a contest) but I need that particular 'share' to be public not restricted. Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way to tell if my computer can play NTSC format dvds. I'm thinking to purchase a CD from Korea which comes with a NTSC format dvd but I want to know if I can play it on my computer. I live in Australia.

If I can't play it, is there a program or something i can use to be able to play it?

I did an experiment for science and i researched around to find most people saying that cold candles take longer to burn than room temperature candles. but when i did my experiment, (did it 3 times and took the average) i found that the one that i put in the freezer overnight burnt the quickest. is this possible? why or why not? i got a very similar result to this person: http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/gen06/gen067... please help.

i know this is an old issue, but i just wanna check

i have a hidden folder in my first comp called RECYCLER in both my local disks

theyre not recycler.exe, just plain RECYCLER.

they contain the stuff iv deleted and when i empty the recycle bin, the files in it disappears. i read that thats normal.

so its not a virus right? or is it?

coz i read that the recycler.exe virus comes from usb sticks and i found recycler on a usb and on my i pod. when i tried to delete it off my ipod, it went and didnt come back (relief)

but on my other (second) comp, i found recycler on a usb and wasnt able to delete it. if i did, it came back straight away. and now i cant view hidden files. i heard thats part of the recycler.exe virus too.

on my first comp though, i can see hidden files.

does that mean only my second comp has the virus?

im very confused

plz help.
