I need to wake myself up after 5 hours of sleep, so the obvious way to do that would be to use an alarm... but that wakes up the rest of my family.. So, anyone got any alternative ways to wake myself up at a specific time?

And if you really want to know the reason, I'm attempting to have a wake induced lucid dream (a lucid dream is a dream that you can control) and the best time to try this is when you're still half asleep. You usually start your REM sleep after about 5 hours (or so I believe), so that's the best time to attempt to use the WILD technique.

So we've been talking and stuff for quite a while now, and I RREEAAALLLLYYYY like her. Only hting is I can't tell if she likes me or not.

Some details:

I've caught her looking at me a couple of times, and most of the time she'll look away very quickly. But then when I'm talking (not necessarily directly at her, just to the group in general) she'll look at me constantly and hold eye contact for quite a while.

One of her friends has asked one of my friends if I like her quite a few times, and when my friend asked her if the girl I like likes me, she said she thinks so (wow confusing sentence) but I'm not really sure if that means anything.

APPARENTLY (according to a friend), when the girl I like and one of her friends were coming over to sit with me and my friends, her friend stopped, said something to the girl I like and then deliberately sat on the other side of the table, leaving the space next to me open.

One time when I walked into college I saw her look at me and then say something to her guy friend that she was sitting with. Her guy friend then came over to me and said I should sit with them coz he feels "lonely being the only guy there". Coulda been a complete coincident but yeah..

After writing all this down it seems pretty likely that she does like me.. but it would be great to get your opinions before I ask her out.

Oh and we're both 16, and she's relatively shy.

I suppose I should give you a little info on her. So.. she's a girl. 16 years old, and she's doing A-levels at college.

I recently found out that she's depressed (on "happy pills") and I just wanted to know how I could help her out. I'm a guy, also 16, and we go to the same college. Sometimes when I look at her she just has a really sad expression on her face and I really want to help in some way, I just don't know how.

I'm 16, started college (UK) this year. There's this girl I kinda like, and I've heard rumours that she likes me too, but I've also heard rumours that she doesn't...

Basically, my question is: How can you tell if a girl likes you?

I've caught her looking at me a couple of times, but obviously this could have been a complete coincident. My friend says she's looking at me a lot, but don't take this as a reliable source of info haha...

I can be really socially awkward when alone (by alone I mean just me and one other person, when I'm in a group I'm absolutely fine), so please don't just say "be a man and just ask her out". We're quite good friends at the moment, and I would really hate to ruin it.

Recently I just haven't been eating much and I'm not really sure why. At the moment I'm a good weight (last time I checked at least) but I'm worried I might become underweight if this continues. I do quite a lot of exercise (Tae Kwon Do 3 hours a week) and sometimes another 2 hours of squad training (more TKD but, but focused around sparring). Oh and I'm 16 years old, that's probably some important info.

At lunch, for example, I used to have a sandwich and some fruit, but now I'll just have a drink and then be full.

I've recently started A-levels at college so I was thinking it could be stress related? I could be totally wrong, which is why I'm posting here.

Also, I don't feel it's urgent enough to take to the doctor, which is why I'm posting here first.

Basically, there's this girl, we talked a little, I already REALLY like her, what's the best way to find out if she's already got a boyfriend or not?

MORE DETAIL (MOST OF IT COMPLETELY USELESS, I just had to get it out, so don't feel like you have to read this bit to be able to answer the question):

We're in college doing A-levels.Yesterday I had enrichment. I chose photography (the type where you get the paper and flash the light on it and stuff) coz I though it sounded pretty cool, and one of my friends is also doing it. So yeah, We got to photography and I immediately saw that most of the other people there know at least 2-3 other people in the group. Except this one girl. When we started to do the photography we sort of talked a little (purely out of luck she ended up next to me in the dark room). She seemed a bit awkward/nervous because she didn't know anyone else in the group, but she seems like a really nice person and I already feel like we have a lot in common.

Obviously it's too early to say whether I truly like her, but it was a 2 hour session so it's not like we only talked for 5 minutes.

I saw her around college today (wait, 00:09, yesterday) and she seemed to have quite a large group of friends, but she wasn't one of the loud ones, she seemed to sort of hover at the edge of the group, which shows she's not one of the really loud, snobby, obnoxious ones who only care about how they look, which is a good thing,

Anyway, before I try and... take it further I suppose... I was wondering what would be the best way to find out if she's already in a relationship.

And any advice on how to talk to her and how to not simply get 'friend zoned' would be really appreciated.

I realise how sad I probably sound, and rip into me all you want. This is the first time I've properly liked a girl, so yeah...

Last night I experienced some relatively painful aches, almost like growing pains but much more intense, in my ankles. They lasted all night preventing most sleep. After waking up in the morning after a couple of hours of sleep the pain was much worse than it was previously. Walking around didn't make the pains worse. I took some ibuprofen and within the next half hour - hour the pains had stopped.

So I was wondering if anyone might know what could have caused the pain/ache. Thanks for all your help in advance.

P.S. There is/was nothing visibly wrong with my ankles, no swelling etc.

Where you crouch down and look at the floor, breath quickly and deeply for a short time and then stand up and hold your breath. It causes you to black out for a few seconds, the length of time depends on how long you were crouched. Anyway, I was just wondering if this was dangerous in terms of health in any way. Simply question, I'm just curious as to what made you stop eating meat. Do you just not like the taste or is it ethical or some other reason?

When I dream I am often unable to run/can only run very slowly. It feels as if my legs just lose all the energy in them. This also happens when I try to punch someone in a dream, I just lose all my energy. This isn't a problem all the time however, as I quite often have lucid dreams. I was just wondering if anyone knows why this is/what it means/how to resolve it. Thanks for your time.

i'm looking for a cheap yet good music phone. i wouldn't like to spend too much more than £150. T-Mobile would be the preferable provider because then i can just swap the sim cards over from my old phone but it doesn't matter much. PLEASE HELP!
