Guess What? I'm Human

There's this guy I really like, and he happens to be one of my closest friends' boyfriend. I found him attractive long before they started dating, and that attraction faded away for a while. Because of some issues, I ended up hating him and didn't want him for my friend. It was a big question to me why people even liked him. A while later, I got to know him better and decided that he was actually a great person. I got to hang out with him more, we hung out even more than he and his girlfriend dated since his girlfriend was pretty much still shy about it going public. He was always very nice and such a gentleman.

Last Friday, our teacher met with us for a trip to a festival and he told me that we should stick together during the festival. He said that about five times during the meeting. (His girlfriend did not join the trip.) At night, when I asked permission from my parents, they wouldn't allow me to go. I told him about it and he said he understood, but was really disappointed about it because he was very excited about us hanging out together that day. I also asked to borrow his Physics book which he left in our classroom for me to get when I got there. The next day, my parents finally allowed me to go as long as I went home before dark. He happily greeted me when we got to the ride on the way to the festival and we stuck together most of the time. He would offer to get me food and drinks, and made sure I was comfortable, safe, and having fun. A lot of other couple-like moments happened between us. Later, his girlfriend (who was at school by that time) texted him asking why his book was there and he asked her to give it to me once we met since his girlfriend and I are classmates and he wasn't. When I finally went home that afternoon, my friends said that he looked like he was suddenly not in the mood and rather sluggish. He texted me thanks and we kept on texting until past midnight. His girlfriend was surprised that up until after I got home, we were still texting. I was also told that they fought a bit that night.

I don't really want to ruin my friendship with his girlfriend, or my friendship with him, or their relationship. I support their relationship a lot and I know that they are very much in love with each other although she's much less in love with him than he is in love with her.

So the question here is, a) do you think he likes me? b) what can I do so I won't ruin my friendship with his girlfriend? c) should I start avoiding him?

I'm confused on what type of figure of speech is there. "Armed to the teeth" seems like a metaphor, but "man talks peace while he is armed to the teeth" also seems like irony. Which is it?

I have this friend that had a crush on this boy for three years before they dated nine months ago. He was cute, really tall, and somewhat rude and very straightforward but once you get to know him, he's actually sweet, caring, nice and fun. They became official Wednesday night, and broke up on Friday morning. The girl was really hurt because she really loved him and he was her first love. They only became friends again this June.

For the past month, however, she still tries to ask the guy if he still has feelings for her. He would always say no, but then he said that we might not know what the future holds since he's only 16 and she's just 15. When she asked again this weekend, he told her "no" straight out and that she should just date one of her suitors. She tried, but she's only unhappy with the relationship. My friend always tried her best to get the boy back but he keeps rejecting her. What should she do?

My friend is beautiful, came from a broken home but is smart, talented and is the school's student body president. She has already been hurt so many times in her life before, and she's stressed because we're in our last year of high school. Should she keep pursuing the guy, or should she just give up and focus on school?

My friend is still madly in love with this guy that she dated for a day and she had these two suitors. One of them was this ruggedly handsome guy that had a crush on her for three years already but was lazy and irresponsible; and the other one was kind of cute and very nice and responsible but too soft-spoken and awkward. This weekend, her ex told her that he doesn’t have feelings for her anymore and that she should just date the awkward cute guy. She was really shocked and hurt, so out of spite she did say yes to the awkward one. Now she regrets saying yes and is unhappy of the relationship even if it’s only been a day. She only said yes because she was frustrated with her ex. What should she do? Should she just break up with the guy?

Yes or no. Why or why not?

One of the best out of the Twilight cast, probably. I love him better than Kellan Lutz and Robert Pattinson put together. No offense to the former. I totally loved Jackson in that Criminal Minds episode.
