  • What is an MICU Component?

I have been having car trouble and I was told that I need an MICU Component and it's going to cost $624 to fix. The guy couldn't even tell me what this thing is, why this happened, or if I really need it. I asked about the original car trouble in a different question, here is the link...

  • Fuel not getting to engine, Why?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic. I take good car of my car. I have never had a problem with it since I bought it in January 2006. It's coming up on 50.000 miles. I left an inside light on in my car 2 nights ago. It was on for about 24 hours before I needed to use my car again. I tried to unlock it with my remote key and nothing was happening. I unlocked the door to find that nothing was working, electrical or otherwise... except for the light I left on. I tried to start it and nothing happened. I figured the battery was dead. Tried to jump it with a friends car... It would turn on and shut off again immediately. This morning I called AAA Battery Service. He tried to jump start it.. same result. He put in a new battery.. same result again. He towed me to a repair shop. They have had my car all day and can't figure out what's wrong with it. All they know is that somehow fuel isn't getting to the engine. I would assume it would be a bad fuel pump or the fuel injectors but it wouldn't take all day to figure that out. Any ideas on what this could be and what it may cost to fix? I don't work on cars, period. The only reason I'm not just letting the professionals handle it is because they all seem extremely perplexed.

Please only answer if you have had a very similar situation or know something about cars. Don't waste your time "google"ing it.. I have already done that and haven't found any answers, I have only found people in the same situation with much older cars.
