A tank measuring 0.3m x 0.3m x 0.6m contains water at 60 degrees Celsius. It is completely covered by 50mm of insulation whose conductivity is 0.04W/m/K. The convective heat transfer coefficient between the outside of the tank of the insulation and the surrounding air (at 20 degrees Celsius) is 6W/m^2/K. What is the rate of heat loss from the tank?

I have found a Digital Wattmeter with an accuracy of: 0.5% FS + 0.5% Rdg. Now I know that Rdg stands for reading, but what does FS mean...? Also, if I had a value of 20.4V read from the Wattmeter, what value would this give me for the error?

Basically on the 22nd January I won an item on ebay, and paid for it instantly on paypal. However the payment is saying unclaimed... And I have noticed that the email address is incorrect: 'xxxxxxxxx@live.con'. (I have used x's to keep this anonymous). I have tried contacted the seller over ebay and they haven't replied in 5 days... What should I do? ;)

Basically, last night a girl a know reasonably well, said she likes me on facebook. A 0.7 kg mass is held just in contact with a relaxed light spring (stiffness 10^5 N/m) that stands vertically. The mass is gently released and it then rests on top of, and supported by, the spring. What is the maximum deflection of the spring after the mass is released?
