Artist and song title?
I heard a song recently and can't remember who sings it or what the song is called. It's very alternative pop/rock in the vein or Sister Hazel. The chorus goes "Give me something (or someone) to believe in, I need something (or someone) to believe in me." Any help would be appreciated. The song probably came out in the late 90's, early 2000s.
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoWhat is the song title and artist? I've been searching for it for over 10 years?
I don't know the name of this particular song or the artist but I'll describe it as best as I can. It came out in the late 90s. Very Pop/Rock. It's starts with a jangle rockesque guitar riff. The singer (male, by the way) sings a quick "oh" and then the whole band goes into the verse section. The verses have lines like "It was just last week," "I was searching and could not stop the world that would change," and "thinking about the love that we would make." In the refrain, it's hard to make out what the lead singer is signing because he sings very high. It sounds like he's singing "I was staring at!" then a call and response happens when another vocal sings the exact line after the lead singer sings it but in a different octave. This happens three times every time they go to the refrain (or chorus). I tried for over 10 years to find out what artist and song title this is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
3 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoNeed artist and titile of song please?
I was up at a local music shop buying a part to replace on my acoustic. While I was waiting for them to grab it out of the back, a song came over the XM in the store.
It's a slower song, very melodic. Sounded fairly new. There may have been a guitar, but the drum beat was industrial sounding, more like something generated on a keyboard. Some of the lyrics I picked up on were as follows...
"When the world had just begun" (sung in the first few lines of the song)
the chorus went like..
"Home, (some random lyric),
Home, (some random lyric),
Home, (some random lyric),
He sings a line about his mother in there somewhere too.
I know this is very vague, but if anyone has ever heard of anything like it, feel free to take a stab at it.

2 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoFantasy Baseball ESPN Commerical?
I recently saw a commerical for ESPN Fantasy Baseball. It was basically a soap opera but it all dealt with Fantasy Baseball. Towards the end, it showed one of the characters in a hospital bed asking his girlfriend/wife to come closer becuase he has something to tell her. She leans closer and he says "Don't...trade...Prince...Fielder." Then, he dies, the girl screams "No!" Anyone know if there is a link to view this commerical again? It was hysterical.
3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade agoThis Is Spinal Tap Location Question?
In the scene where the band performs one of their gigs claiming there are going a "different direction" playing a avant garde song and there is a small amount of people in the stands, where was that scene shot? The place looks remarkably similar to the Tweeter Center (formerly Great Woods) in Massachusetts.
1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoSong in Chrysler Commerical?
Chrysler is currently using a song for their commericals. One of the commericals does a timeline of Chrysler moments or somethign with the song being played in the background. It's very indie-rock. It has a synthesizer sound which is very similar to Brendan Benson's "Cold Hands, (Warm Heart)." I heard the song when I was in JC Penney recently as well.

7 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoIf a making of an album was like this, would you listen to it?
Here's the story of the making of an album:
The album was recorded in 1991, but shortly after the finished disc was being mixed, the master tapes were destroyed when the studio caught fire. All was not lost, however, as producer had made a DAT safety copy before he left for vacation. Unfortunately, not knowing about the fire, the producer inadvertently left his DAT in his rental car. Amazingly, he was able to track it down with the help of the car rental company, but given that the record company had gone under and the band had split up in the interim, the album didn't come out until a German label rescued it in 1995.
Would you listen to it?
There is an album that suffered this fate, by the way.
Best answer automatically goes to the person who knows which album this story refers to.
If you don't know, would you listen to it? It's in the rock genre.
4 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWhat do you think of this joke?
Two men were buying present for their wives on Valentine's Day. One was rich and the other was middle class. The middle class man saw a rich man putting a fur coat in the back seat of a brand new Ferrari. The middle class man decided to strike a conversation with him.
"Going shopping for Valentine's Day?" The middle class man asked.
"Yeah, I got my wife a fur coat and a Ferrari," the rich man answered.
"Wow, you gave her two expensive items?" the middle class man asked in amazement.
"Well, not exactly. If she doesn't like the fur coat, she can drive back to the store in her new Ferrari to return it. What do you get for your wife?, " the rich man asked.
"A diamond ring and a dildo," the middle class man replied.
"Why those items?" the rich man asked.
"If she doesn't like the diamond ring, she can go **** herself," the middle class man replied.
3 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoA question to Red Sox Fans or Baseball fans in general:?
As you know, the three disapoointing hitters on the Red Sox are:
Coco Crisp
J.D. Drew
Julio Lugo
Look what has happened this past 5 games:
Coco Crisp: Hit 2 Home Runs and went 4 for 4 last night.
Currently on a 5 game hitting streak
JD Drew: Hit a home run last night
Currently on a 4 game hitting streak
Julio Lugo: Still struggling.
It is too optimistic to say that J.D. Drew and Coco Crisp is finally "getting their swing back"?
