How is Southwell (Notts, UK) pronounced?
I say "suth-ul", but I know some people who will say "sowth-wel". How do people who live there pronounce the name? Is only one correct or are they both acceptable?

So far we've thought of:
Kenny Dalglish (Liverpool and Blackburn)
Brian Clough (Derby & Forest)
Herbert Chapman (Huddersfield & Arsenal)
Does anyone know any more?
1 AnswerEnglish Football (Soccer)9 years agoWhich pubs have been in EVERY Good Beer Guide?
I read an article recently which claimed that seven English pubs had appeared in every edition of CAMRA's Good Beer Guide from 1974 to 2011. I know one of them is the Roscoe Head in Liverpool - does anyone know what the other six might be? Also, are there any non-English pubs that have achieved the same distinction?
2 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits10 years agoHow many different ways are there of combining four values (w, x, y & z) into a four digit string?
Any of the four values can appear in any position and you can have few, many or none of each value. For example, xxxx, wxyz, xxwx, zzyy are all valid. The order is important (i.e. xxyx is different to xxxy).
What if every string had to have at least one x? What would the number of options be then?

Which league(s) are the most lucrative for women soccer players? How much do the top players earn (salary rather than sponsorships)? How many professional teams are there in the UK? What do semi-pro players earn as match fees?
4 AnswersWomen's Football (Soccer)1 decade agoIn the English Premier League 2008/09, how often did the top four ALL win in the same week?
Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal don't lose very often but they all draw regularly (esp. Liverpool and Arsenal in 2008/09). How many weeks (out of 38) did they all win in the league? Did it happen at all? Alternatively, how many weeks did none of them win?
