what's the difference between Centerfire and Rimfire rifles? Does one have an advantage over the other? access ability of ammunition? distance? power?

I'm thinking about buying my first air rifle and was wondering if they had any uses other than shooting targets?

Thinking about buying an air rifle to hunt small game, such as jackrabbits, and use for target practice. What would be a good gun if i haven't gotten one before?

I'm thinking about buying an air rifle. It will be my first one and wanted advice on what caliber, fps, manufacturer or specific gun that I should buy. I will primarily use this gun for hunting jackrabbits, other small game, and maybe target practice. I was looking at buying a GAMO gun. yes or no?

I'm thinking about buying my first air rifle and was debating whether to buy a .177 Caliber or a .22 Caliber. Besides the weight of the pellets that it takes is there that much of a difference? I will primarily use said rifle for hunting small game, such as jackrabbits, and for shooting targets at ranges. Also any recommendation for a specific air rifle would be nice, right now I'm thinking of getting one from GAMO.

I live in the East Bay and was looking for more places to hunt. I have a license and can get a hold of tags, i just need places to go.
