What's a good thing a Mathematics major can tell at an job interview for a finance field?
I'm graduating with a bachelor in mathematics.
I have an job interview for a Data analysis position in a pretty big name finance company.
I know the company will probably ask about my experience in the field of finance but I don't have any since it really wasn't required in my math field. (meaning, I didn't take any finance courses)
I need to have a good comeback to tell them when they ask stuff like,
"how can mathematics be useful in finance?"
"How good are you with finance?"
Someone help me?
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agolooking for a place to travel in the midwest.?
I want to go on a road trip from few days (max 4 days) somewhere.
I live in Chicago and don't want to travel too far (meaning to east or west coast) so, what are some good locations to travel within the midwest?
Only idea I have at the moment is the Mammoth Cave in Kentucky.
P.S. I'm a college student with low budget so something cheap will always be good.
3 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoa board game from Sweden?
I'm looking for a board game from Sweden.
It won about five different game awards.
It's a two player game using marbles.
The point of the game is to put the marbles in a row of five in any direction but the board is cut in to four separate pieces and they all rotate 360 degrees.
I thought the name of the game was "Pentagon" but I can't find anything about it online so I might have the name of the game wrong.
1 AnswerBoard Games1 decade agoAny one know of candles that can become hand oil/lotion?
I've seen it about few years ago at some hair salon but they were burning these nice smelling candles in a tin jar. This person told me the wax that melts from the heat of the candle becomes oil/lotion for the hands. I actually tried it and it really was oil/lotion thing you can put on you hands!
Anyone know anything about these and where I can buy them?
