I think Mr. Leonard Cohen said it best: "I'm sentimental, if you know what I mean I love the country but I can't stand the scene. And I'm neither left or right I'm just staying home tonight, getting lost in that hopeless little screen."
Obscure Horror Movie Question.....Help Needed!!!!!?
I once saw a horror movie a few years ago, the story took place at this girls-only Catholic college / prep-school. There was some construction going on at the school and a small group of girls made a underground discovery. There was some hidden chamber with this spooky mystical cauldron. Some in the group were sort of "gothy" and into magicks and the occult. I think they then started to try and use the cauldron to work various spells.
Some things about the film I remember were rather distinctive. The girls "activated" the cauldron by reciting spells as they all walked around it in a circle. One girl, the presumed leader of the group, had a memorable scene where she did a bit of a strip-tease in front of a window for a young construction worker. And I think the setting was somewhere in the Western United States, somewhere with a desert climate.
Anyway, I was trying tell someone about the film but I could not for the life of me think of the name. Does anyone have any clue what the title might be? Points to the one who can give me the correct answer first.
5 AnswersMovies1 decade agoMusic question that's a bit bizarre!?
I'd like to know the name of this song and the artist who sings it. It's a bit bizarre, because I have so little to go on.
I was listening to a collage radio station and heard this one song with a bit of a techno-funk beat to it. The singer was a woman, who had what sounded like a British accent. The song's chorus was something like, "I never believed that I could end up in a place like this".
Now it is my hope that this isn't a song by some horrible artist that I somehow ended up liking. But if you know the name of this song, could you tell me please what it is and who sings it. I know I could always call the radio station and they might be able to tell me but I thought I'd ask here first.
Thank you very much!
