  • Advice on showering with an arm cast?

    After years of pushing my luck I have finally broken a bone and as a result my entire arm is in an cast for the next six weeks.

    I have been reading the do's and don't's provided by the hospital and they say if I wrap my cast in Cling Film or a Bin liner (garbage bag) in order to water proof it for showering I can weaken the cast. They say instead I must buy from them a special bag; is there any reason for this or are they just after some more money?

  • Weather in Montreal in late March?

    Hey basically I am in the Merchant navy and will be in Montreal from late March onwards. I know that you guys get hell of a lot of snow but wondering if by late March it will have been cleared up. I am wondering this as wondering weather I should be packing boots.
