right now i have 2 Pelvicachromis pulcher and 1 Ancistrus sp. i have some plants and some rocks. my pair of Pelvicachromis pulcher are abit aggressive cause they are breeding right now.

what kind of fish can i add. any sugest would help.

i just came home from holiday, and i saw that one of my angels, where completely missing his top fin.

i have no fin nippers in the tank, the water is regularly changed (the person who was feeding the fish, changed also the water regularly.). it is a 55 gallon tank so it is big enough for the fish.

so how can i treat the fin rot, and if it is treated, will the fin grow back again??

I was chatting to here on facebook yesterday, but today when I opened facebook and I saw that she didn't wanna be friends anymore.

i have a 55 gallon tank with some fish in, and one of them is a kribensis cichlid female. i all ways wanted a male so my dad went to the fish shop and asked after a kribensis cichlid, and the shop keeper said that they only had two kribensis cichlids, and they where not shore if they where male and female. so my dad toke the on how logged must like a male, but when i saw it, it was a female. i got three tanks but in the biggest i have the other cichlid and tank mates, and i know that cichlids make there territory, and i am afraid that they will fight to the death. in the other tanks i have a betta and a small coryfish, and in the other i have swordtail fry (2 months old, 1,5cm long) my question is.

1. can i add the kribensis cichlid to the tank, without that the other kribensis cichlid will fight with it?

2. what should i do if they fight?

3. will they fight i add two males more? (when the shop gets kribensis cichlids again)

4. what can i do so they wont fight?

5. and will they find out to make there own territory, and be in there own territory?

i know that cichlid (african) don't like plants and will dig them up, or destroy them, but the only problem is that i only have kribensis cihlids, witch don't destroy plants. so why are my other fish destroying my plants?

in the tank i have:

5 gouramis

11 neon tetras

1 female kribensis cichlid

3 swordtails, two males and one female

2 platys male and female

1 resboria.

i have two other tanks, that are smaller 22 gallon and 19 gallon, and there i have the same plants in but they don't get destroyed. in the smaller tanks i have a betta, and in the another i have swordtail Fry's.

my question are:

1. why are my fish in the 55 gallon destroying the plants, and not the other fish?

2. what's the reason to destroy the plants?

3. what should i do so the fish stop destroying the plants, i can't move them (i do not have all that space)

4. will the plants regrow, the fish are eating only the leaves?

i have another tank where i have swordtail fry in, but when they grow bigger i sell them, and move the gouramis to the tank. my question is : i want a big pleco, (should grow op to 20 cm) but it should have some beautiful colors, like green, red or Braun. so what pleco should i buy?

my swordtail gave birth in the morning, i saw only 3 babies in the breeder tank. 3 hours after she gave birth i toke here out of the breeder tank, and later she gave birth again this time 4 babies (my tank has allot plants so i thought would be okay) 2 hours ago i removed here and the male to my 55 gallon tropical tank, and she gave birth again 5 min ago.

my questions are :

1. how many this will she give birth today?

2. how long does it takes the fry to grow to 1,5 cm?

3. what food should i give the fry?

4. how big is the chance that all the fry will survive?

5. and the last, why didn't she gave birth all the fry at once?
