My pregnant american bulldog mix is almost 6 weeks along. Shes 2 1/2 years old. She was playing fetch and when I looked she had a light greenish possibly light yellow discharge coming out of her vulva. Now do you think this is something serious? or maybe a slight infection? or could it be normal. I live 2 hours away from a vet. If you think its necessary i will drive it for my baby but I would rather hear your opinions

Would you give her royal canin, taste of the wild, blue buffalo, eukanuba puppy food.......im in a real dilemma. I just want to give my girl the best. Thank you ;)

Hello, guys......I am taking her to the vet in 2 days. WE are watching our friends dog who we think are pregnant, its actually the 69th day. But we saw puppy movement about a week ago. Shes been scratching and looking for a nest for about 2 weeks now. But its quite past her due date!! We are worrying because she isn't really showing any signs of labor. Shes been sleeping ALL day besides to get up to eat and go potty for 2 days now. The rest of the day she goes straight back into her whelping box, and sleeps the rest of the day.... We don't know whats going on. She also doesnt have much of an appetite, we have to mix meat in her food and hand feed her to get her to eat. The vet is extremely busy these past days and when we call them, they say that there are tons of people there, so we would have to wait for HOURS. IN the meantime, we would like to get peoples opinions of what is going on. She pants heavily sometimes, but it is hot here, so that could also be the cause. 2 days ago we woke up to her crying and breathing hard and looking behind the furniture and stuff, but then she stopped.

My friend kept telling me she was going to get her dog spayed, but she didn't yet. Well she went to California, and the person that was watching her dog wasn't paying attention even though my friend begged them to pay attention. SO in the end result the person that was supposed to be watching the dog remembered and looked outside only to see the dog laying with a male dog, side by side. (she was in heat but before she wouldn't let the males mate with her yet)

Anyway so my friends says she thinks her dogs pregnant because she thinks she can see the pups kicking. The dog watcher said she saw them lying together on March 28. So 37 days. Would she be able to see the puppies kicking? Or is it too early still?

Thank you for all of the answers, and Im going to make sure her dog gets spayed after this. Even if I have to steal the dog from her house and take it tot he vet myself, she's getting spayed Lol. Theres too many poor pups out there. We dont want to make more.

Ok guys I am training for the Posse rodeo. My horse doesn't need spurs at all, but it is necessary to have them for show they said. I have a really bad habit of squeezing my legs together when I get nervous. my instructor said that since hes never needed spurs and is not used to them that he would most likely buck or not listen if I accidentally squeezed and used them on him. DO you have ANY advice on ways not to squeeze my legs, or some things that I could improve. thanks a lot. I asked the last question asking if I should lease or buy. I did not mean that I am ready to pay 300-400 to lease or buy. I meant for whatever I need to do, I am ready to pay 300-500 even a month. I have that money set aside. Oh my gosh, everyone knows that horses are super expensive. I was asking because there's this horse that I really want to buy and think I am eventually going to buy but was wondering if I should lease first. So I think that I am going to lease first for 300$ dollars a month and then buy the beautiful Arabian horse for 1,500. Thank you guys. Please just add some advice.

Male dog had gotten into her yard and was humping her. She didn't know how long they had been humping but her dog had been outside for about 15 minutes. She is super scared she doesn't want to tell her parents because she thinks they could get mad at her. Her mom told her to keep a eye on the dog until the heat ended so she could get her spayed. Anyways I was wondering do you think her dog could be pregnant. Oh my gosh I really hope not.

I have researched endless pages on what makes them sick, how to keep them happy and healthy, where to keep them, how to entertain them at times, and etc. But im not sure if its the one for me. I really, really would like to have one, but I have heard that they can be quite agressive at times. I also have a extremely sweet loving female dog, we had baby chicks, adult chickens, and a cat living at my house for a period of time and she got along nicely. I'm sorry everyone because of me my dog is pregnant. I accidentally let her out to go pee and when she didn't come back inside for about 15 minutes I looked for her and saw her with my male dog that was in his pen and they were getting jiggy and that's how that happened . I was very stupid and irresponsible and a bad pet

owner I'm sorry and right after this in going to get get spayed. Anyway when I was taking get temperature a little bit of light yellowish discharge came out of her vulva. It was as thick ad petroleum jelly. I have an appointment for my vet in two days but was wondering if I could get advice before then. I'm just a little worried. I already talked with my vet . I just want to know what it could be she's at the end of her nine weeks.thankyou everyone.

Everyone I'm going to admit I was very stupid and irresponsible for letting my baby out. Now she is nine weeks pregnant and it is her first litter. Right after this im goign to get her spayed - no delays -

For the meantime another stupid thing is I wasn't taking her temperature for all this time. I took it today though and it was 99.8 I heard that when their temperature drops below 100 F it means they will go into labor soon is that true? and also she has been scratching at her whelping box bedding and at the towels that I set for her on the ground. She is also going to the back of my closet and lying down, and behind and under my bed. She will aslo follow me everywhere I go like into my room and downstairs just everywhere. The thing is though when I put some warm broth into her food she will eat small amounts. She is licking her vulva alot and sleeping more than usual. um... She isn't panting or breathing heavily yet and im soo sorry for being a stupid and irresponsible pet owner and I will do the right thing when she has pups by getting her spayed. Okay before any rude people ( if there are any) start running their mouth about spay and euthanize and vet junk this was a planned breeding. I know what to do for everything, but I dont know if I just can't feel the puppies because somethings wrong or because their in their mothers ribcage. Her ribcage is expanding and she's on her last day.

Okay everyone, my dog is on her 9th week. If i take her to the vet they will be able to give me an estimate of how many puppies to expect right? and also I was wondering if you guys can give me an estimate of how much it would be to do that. This might be a false pregnancy or a real one but she's 5 1/2 weeks through it and I check her vulva, stomach, etc everyday basically and her vulva today is kind of reddish. Does anyone know what this might be before I take her to the vet?

I have an appointment next monday, but I just cant wait, I really want to know.So may someone who has experience tell me if my dog is pregnant. I can tell you a few things that caught my eye. Her nipples are growing a lot, I can kind of see a bump in her tummy and her abdomen along with her appetite is growing. Um I also noticed that her vagina did go down quite a bit, but not back down to the original size. one more thing, she is following me around a lot more than usual. Ok, the truth is I was about to get her spayed on wednesday, but when i went outside to give my dog a snack my male dog was on top of her, 1 week later her nipples started to grow and 3 weeks into the pregnancy her nipples were much bigger and her abdomen was too. also her vagina wouldn't go down. 5 weeks into the pregnancy (now) I put a stethoscope to her tummy and can hear a heart beat.
