I am an Indian citizen on student visa in F1 United States.

An F4 immigration petition was placed for my father by his sister in August 2005 and I was listed as a dependent.

In any usual case, I would still be with my father and go to the Visa interview with him. But since I an in the states already, is there a way I can apply for a change of status and saving me a trip to India?

Hello, I am an international student living in this off campus housing shared with other student/alumni. This girl has problems with me and is always yelling at me for no reason.

My landlord is reluctant to take action.

What can I do?

Nothing has escalated to physical abuse but the behavior is repetitive & disrupting peace.

I do not want to move. I think she is The Who should be kicked out. How can I make that happen?

I have been cleaning surfaces in the house using rubbing alcohol. Since I share the place with 5 people, I though it is good practice to sterilize the bathroom before using it. I accidentally sprayed on toilet paper. I though it would dry off in a few seconds.

My roommate, this girl who already has problems with me, went to use the bathroom and used that toilet paper before it could dry off. She snapped at me for cleaning the place again and again and told me she wants to sue me for negligence,

Does this make for a case? I did not do it on purpose to hurt her. I was just doing a nice thing keep the place clean and avoiding infections.

I do understand that I should have put a sign on the toilet paper that it's wet with rubbing alcohol, but also she could've avoided using it if she noticed it is alcohol.

Should I be reaching out to a defense lawyer for assistance?

I an Indian immigrant living in an apartment building.

There is this white kid who moved in recently, and seems to have a problem with me for no reason. 

Yesterday I came back home to see a TRUMP MAGA sticker on my door.

I was pretty sure he did it so I confronted him asking is he did it, to which he very blatantly answered “it might have came in with my stuff. You know how stickers can get stick to your luggage in the streets and come along in building and land on a random door.” 

What legal action can I take?

My landlord is refusing to do anything more than giving him a warning call.

My housemate orders edibles from shady websites. She always has packages coming in that are definitely shady.

How do I report her activities to police? My landlord doesn't seem to care.

I want to report this anonymously as I don't want any trouble from her.

Hello, I am an 24 years old Male international student living in New Jersey

I live in a house in sharing with other tenants. I have my personal room. The bathroom and Kitchen are shared.

I feel like being targeted/harassed by two girls living in the house. They are doing small things that are not complain worthy. The landlord doesn't care about small things and do not want to take action. 

For example: They would use my stuff to block the door open when getting stuff from the car, and would claim it as "utility" instead of being apologetic. They would say if I leave something in common area they can use it for their own benefit. It is indeed partly my fault for leaving my things outside.

But when I confronted them they were very rude about this. They would yell out curse words. I don't think I did anything to deserve the cursing.

How do I approach this legally? I need mental peace.

Clearly her fault, and needs to learn a lesson.

In case I get pulled over and get confronted by a police officer

I got a speeding ticket. The address that officer noted was form my driver's license and it's my parents' house.

I will go pay the ticket at the court soon as it is active but I do not want my parents finding out.

I called the court asking if it can be avoided, but they are disagreeing. They said, as soon as the tickets are reviewed, a notice has to be generated.

Considering that I am aware and willing to pay, can't there be some way I can avoid this?

Ever since I have moved form India to Newark NJ, I have noticed black people are very racist towards Indians. More than white people are. Specially black women in their 40s 50s being a government official, like worker at DMV or Ticket inspector at Train station.

I usually book a ticket after getting on the train on the NJ Transit app. yesterday, I had a lot of luggage so it took me a while to settle and buy a ticket. This black lady showed up asking for my ticket and flipped out when found out I was still to buy it.

She claimed "You are on the train. You need to have a ticket. The train is moving."

She gave me a penalty for riding the train without a ticket AND another ticket for not complying/showing my ID when asked.

That was not true, I was trying to make my point as she was already established on a conclusion she made.

Now this obviously shows underlying racism. It can be felt, it cannot be proven.

For some black person, she would've just let him buy on the phone and be cool with it.

How do I tackle this next time. The indirect racism

I used to be skinny but now since an Year I’ve been working out and now I’m a lot stronger than I used to be.

Transformation can change the way how we look but I’m not so sure if I’ve changed as of my behaviour.

Recent I got into a relationship with this beautiful girl. There’s a lot of people who creep in her dms. One guy said he’d wanna grab her butt. Now I didn’t do anything about it coz it’s just a text. But what if someone actually does that in public. Can I just punch them in face! Coz that’d really offensive to me girl and even more than her, to me.

I have no previous experience or any education about music.

There is this Piano at my university pub that anyone can access. Maybe I can ask someone there for a favor to teach me. But still, what stuff do I need to know?

Theoretical wise

I prefer to be really attentive in lecture and I repeat all the materials after the lecture.

Then I study directly before exam. Like the day before.

Is it appropriate because I have been on B average.

I need a system efficient for an overall performer. I also tend to be social and sleep a lot. So what improvements do I make in the time I'm already putting in?

I booked a visa interview date of 30th July.

I am accepted for Fall intake.

Now does going to a visa interview this late create a negative impression?

So this guy I know, lives in India. We went to college together.

He is marrying a girl from US to get the green card & here he's telling everyone that he got student visa without appearing in TOEFL and GRE. Which is a total bluff and something's shady

She has a bad history. She's been in hookups and stuff. Her recent and only serious relationship failed coz she cheated.

Now I kinda like her, she likes me too. But I see a little risk.
