Sorry I had to ask this again...

I need an analysis, a thesis, and literary devices on this poem from another perspective. I feel as if the mood is optimistic towards the end, but my teacher told me that it should be looked at at another approach. I also need an overall paraphrase, since I really don't quite grab the meaning of the poem. This poem relates to the oppression of African Americans back in the Harlem Renaissance. Thanks.

Well, I'm kind of new for girl's lacrosse, but since the beginning, I've been an attack wing. Today, my coaches switched me to center. What are some things I now need to work on? I've never really paid much attention to center positions, so I'm basically starting off new. Thanks in advance!
