I had a dental appliance in my mouth for a year that has caused my jawbone to become very thin around my tooth roots about .3 - . 5 mm in width. My dentist is telling me I need to wait for 6 months for my bone width to regrow. Can anyone with a background in health confirm that this is true? 

I looked it up online and jawbone can’t regrow. 

But I’m thinking it can’t regrow vertically because it’s not there but if it already has the height and it’s thin bone, can’t it regrow in width and thicken?

I already talked to him about a bone graft but he just wants to wait for it to heal

Why do I have to get a GED when I have a hs diploma?

I know your GED is different from a major and associates degree. Its kinda like an extended education on the basic subjects. im taking art, math english, and history. but some people are taking a science or a higher math for their GED. Are all GED's the same or what? im confused. plz help!

I really love the thought of serving for my country by flying Aircraft. Coming out of high school I got ~ 3.0 overall GPA and I know for a fact that the USAFA would definitely not accept that GPA. On top of that I don't have a SAT or ACT score because I haven't taken them. What is the best option/Alternative for me? Regarding my grades and where Im at know.
