  • Is High School really like movies make it out to be?

    I live in Europe (Sweden, to be specific) and everyone is treated the same here; there's slim to no bullying at all and we don't have "high school spirit" because there are no clubs or sports you can join (school doesn't provide either). We get our food for free, too, so we don't have a cafeteria. We don't have a dress code.

    And in the movies, the girls seem really catty and rude (a.ka insecure) and just all-around obnoxious to hang around. Are there really jocks and preps and nerds or is it just something movies made up to make it more exciting?
