IF I get into UCD through my appeal, would I get financial aid? I'm asking this because I got my financial aid for UCI, but my first choice is UCD and I want to say on my appeal that financially, I would benefit more if I got to UCD (of course I'm going to include more things).

Also, do you know if the cost of living in Irvine would be more expensive than Davis?

I'm trying to pull together scholarship applications, but I don't know how to send ACT and SAT scores. And I need it fast! I read someone on Yahoo Answers that you only need to make a copy of the scores that College Board/ACT sent you to your home address... but I think I threw them away...didn't think that I would need it again... I know that College Board has priority but what about ACT? I'm applying for a local scholarship so I can't search the scholarship agency from both of their websites! Do I have to ask a copy to be sent to my house or do I need to do something else??

i'm so scared to like someone right now cause i'm noticing a pattern since.. uhh.. like late-elementary-times. (i like the guy, guy never likes me back, some other dude i have no interest in like me instead..) plus all the heartbroken/embarrasment things. its a looong story.

I got the 30 day trial thing and I used it once several months ago. I got a reallly bad rash-type tiny bumps all over my face and it was really itchy and then after several days, my whole face was peeling for about a week or two.

I used it again a few days ago and the same thing happened...(i'm in the peeling stage right now...i will NOT use proactiv again. period.)

Is this because i'm allergic to the benzoyle peroxide? i read somewhere on the proactiv papers that if you start getting tiny itchy bumps that you may be allergic to benzoyle peroxide?

or could it be that i'm allergic to something else in proactiv?

I want to use some other acne medicine (Equate Medicated Acne Gel) cause I only have mild acne. nothing severe. but equate has benzoyle peroxide in it..

i'm really scared/worried for my friend. she keeps adding random guys (older guys) on myspace and other blogging-chatting type websites she has. she uses her real name, her real pictures (some of them she has a bikini on...) and just keeps adding anyone... we're not popular at all and barely have any guy-friends at our highschool, but this shouldn't be the excuse! and i feel that she keeps adding guys and other random people because she wants to feel like she's popular and be thought by others that she's popular too. my friend wasn't like this a few months ago, either. i encouraged her to get a myspace because i wanted her to be able to talk with me w/o a phone (like a friend-type relationship myspace.) not to hook up with other random guys.

her parents don't even allow it and she keep sneaking online and posting pics of her and age...etc. she's already got grounded because of myspace, but my other friend erased some of the bad-language, random friends(about180+ ppl) so she didn't...

i believe that its wolves or possibly the mixture of all of them. they're all capable of producing offsprings, so the chromosomes all work out, right? anyways, selective breeding came from thousands and thousands of years. i think its quite possible that dogs came from wolves..

my lil brother (4 years younger,12 yrs old) is their favorite. whether it be bad or good,everything is okay for him. he cut (with my dad's cutter) part of the couch outside, the remote control, 2 stuffed animals we used as a nap-time pillow, and some other thing i can't remember.he ALWAYS leaves trash everywhere but my parents don't seem to mind. when i tell them, they just go, "pick it up!" and thats it(its rare too that they say it). he always gives me attitude whenever i tell him to do something. saying stuff like, "WHY DO YOU CARE" &etc.

i recently burned my older sister's shirt (i was reallyx10 pissed off and that was the only thing i could think of. long story.) and my dad went berzerko and smacked me really hard on the head(twice), saying, "i dont understand why you're doing this. you're absurd. you're crazy. you're not my child. my child wouldn't do this. get out of the house."like my brother isn't crazy.

recently, i have been thinking about how my mom and my dad have a bad relationship with us (the kids). and i was wondering, how can you keep a healthy relationship with your kids? now, i'm not a teenage parent or whatever, i just want to know now, so that i won't end up never having a conversation with my child and that we won't misunderstand eachother and whatnot. i pretty much want to be the "cool mom" where the kids are like bff with me and i could go, " whats the matter? something wrong with that boy you like?" or talk about sex when they're older.

what kind of discipline is good for children? (including toddler, child, pre-teen, and teen years?) i want to know cause my mom just screams at me and hits me and just drags me to the door to get out or something (it happened more often when i was 7ish+)

how can you avoid having favorites? my mom+dad is soo easy on my little bro cause he's the baby and the only boy other than my dad and he gets away with sooo much more things

I was wondering if Unisom (the sleeping aid ) was addictive. I bought it about a week ago and been using it. I am really hoping its not... But since I've been only having trouble sleeping faster, not sleeping longer, I've been biting a bit of the unisom tablets bit by bit (these tablets are probably smaller than your pinky nails. ).

I don't need a prescription medication recommended, maybe a different brand of sleeping aids or something (if indeed Unisom is addictive or bad for you). Something that will not be addictive, not harmful to your health, last 8 hours(or just for sleeping quicker..but doesn't end all the sudden after 4 hours), and won't leave my drowsy after I wake up.

I dont have Insomnia, I just have a very bad habit(since.. probably when I was a baby) of taking a nap during the day-early evening, and then being unable to sleep afterwards... Even after 8 hours of sleep(or more) i take a nap.

Please help me, personal experiences would be very helpful!

also, I was wondering what kind of treatment should I use? last time I went to the vet with my dog, they didn't know what it was. (wow, am I going to the right vet??) But that was when I didn't know what hot spots were and didn't ever think it was hotspots. The vets did tests and whatever with him, but they didn't say an actual answer, like HOT SPOTS are the culprit or whatever. I want to start feeding my dog more natural foods with vitamins (like omega fatty acids 3&6, vitamin C, Vitamin E) it seems that he has some sort of skin problems (he is a bichon frise) and so I read an article talking about Bichon Skin problems.

I figured that maybe he's not recieving enough nutrients from just kibbles and a bits of boiled chicken.

in the article, it talked about organs.. but didn't mention what kind(like turkey brains?, chicken heart?, beef, pork liver?. like what kinds??)

what kinds of natural meats (i'm going to cook them a bit.. maybe boil maybe a little bit of pan-cooking with virgin olive oil with garlic or something) should I give my Bichon?

oh yes, and if you can, is there dog shampoo thats gentle on the skin? I heard that oatmeal is good, but I dont see (at least I dont think so) any oatmeal shampoo for dogs in petsmart.

my bichon frise(well known for allergies)has weird itchy spots on his skin. particularly near his anus. its the size of large pimples&a bit red&swollen kind of. he doesnt have parasites cause i keep up with his flea&heartworm medication. i feed him nutro natural choice but i dont think its the diet cause hes had this since the food before (blue buffulo). we've gone to the vet and they tested for fungal&bacterial infection. they've shaven it&gave us antibacterial creme&antibiotic pills..but that was a few months ago..it seemed to work(his tail area and lowerback was inflamed and lots of red bumps ) the anitbiotics ended for quite a while (ive heard only a week for antibiotics or something otherwise its bad for the dog..)&we've kept up with the creme afterwards until the bumps went away. there were like one or two on his skin around the shoulder area, but we didnt put on much creme on it cause of the long fur he has&thought that the anibiotic would make it go away.. now its back.read on.

i was thinking of becoming a vet, but i thought of it as taking too long and too much money when i dont get paid too well (compared to normal doctors). what other jobs is there where i can help dogs and such? but i want it where i can get more money than a vet would?

and don't tell me vet tech cause thats like an assistant.. obviously the pay is lower than the actual vet.

my little brother is a major slob and never listens to me or my mother or anyone else for that matter. he thinks that he's an adult and gives all this sassy *** attitude that pisses me off so much i punch him (and maybe more) and stuff sometimes. it pretty much becomes a boxing/wrestling match.

my brother sets me off so much because when i tell him not to eat at the living room because he leaves food on the floor (and sure enough i found it on the floor that second.)

and thats not the only thing. i tell him to take a shower cause he has school the next day and he doesn't answer until i start screaming 10 minutes later. and then he comes and screams OOOKKKKKAYYYY!!! annoyingly and screaming. and then he freaking pulls something out of the clean laundry and then everything on top of his pants fell. i tell him to pick it up and he just stares at the tv and goes, "why should i?
