I've been at my job for about 3 years and about once or twice a week, sometimes more, they make me work more than 6 hours without a break. Several of my former co-workers have already sued them for not giving breaks, so I want to know how to get a piece of this. Would I have to collect the evidence my self? Like log out sheets for example. I only recently started doing this. I've counted 10 days without breaks in the last 2 months but only have the log out sheets for half of them. But there are countless others from the years before. So what are my options? Is there a government agency I can go to? Or should I just find a lawyer? Also, how much compensation would I be looking? I live in California if that helps.

My girlfriend (now ex) and I have the same phone. One night while we were drinking and after she fell asleep her phone got a text. Now Im not the controlling paranoid type who would look through my girlfriends text messages, but I honestly thought it was my phone. So I read the text, it was from another man and it basically said "Im at the hotel what are you up to?" I woke her up and asked her about it and she said it was just a friend. We then had sex and that reassured me. Then a couple weeks later I picked her up from a friends house who she claimed was named paula. I said we should go inside and hang out with paula, but she said Paula was sleeping now. She hung out alone with paula getting drunk and stuff a couple more times. Everytime I would ask to meet paula she would make excuses. Finally after a month I found out that "Paula" was really a man named Paul. I asked her about it and she claimed that Paul was an old friend, that she thought of like a brother, and she didnt tell me about him because she thought I would get worried. Needless to say this did worry me. But we then had sex and that reassured me. Finally the last straw was when I went to Planned Parenthood for an std test and the test came back positive for chlamydia. Me and my girlriend got tested when we started going out 6 months ago. We both checked out clean. Now I have the clap and I HAVE NOT HAD SEX WITH ANY OTHER WOMEN DURING THAT TIME. So I dumped her. But she claims she never cheated on me and says she loves me and would never want to ruin our relationship. So what do you think? Was I right to dump her? Would any of you guys stay with her after all this? Let me know.

I'm going to be playing some guitar and bass tracks for someone at their home recording studio. They need these tracks for a class and said that pay is negotiable. What's a good rate to charge per hour for this? I live in San Jose (Bay Area) California is this helps.
