I'm 18 and planning on getting my first tattoo in a couple weeks. It will be fairly small, all black and on my chest near my collarbone. I'm just having a couple concerns...

I'm allergic to Nickel. I found this out the first time I got my ears pierced, and I switched my unhealed ears into cheap earrings. I heard that some tattoo ink contains Nickel in it, and I'm really concerned about having a severe allergic reaction.

I also have had psoriasis in the past, but I haven't had a flare up in a long time, and it was being caused by my old birth control so I'm not too concerned about that.

But is there Nickel in black tattoo ink? How common are allergic reactions to tattoos?

I'm in college and was planning on partying on Halloween. My friends and I have huge plans. I just want to make sure that consumption of alcohol isn't going to change the effects or have any bad side effects with my antibiotics.

I read the packet they gave me with the pills, and nowhere does it say that alcohol is bad. It doesn't mention it at all. The results on Google have been confusing.

The website says the adjustment period is about three months. I've been spotting for a month and a half, and I don't think I can stand another month and a half. I don't want it taken out because I know it will be better in the long run, but can anyone help me figure out how much longer I will be bleeding? A few days ago it was slowing down and almost gone, but now I'm on my actual period and it's a lot heavier. I really want it to go away after this.

I miss having sex/having my boyfriend go down on me and i am a horny mess that I can't do anything about. We used to have sex multiple times a week but since my boyfriend is really grossed out by period sex we hardly ever do it anymore. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

Please someone speaking from personal experience help me know how long this will last.

I've heard that it has terrible terrible side effects for some people. I've been on the pill for about a year and have had no issue with it at all.

Some things I've heard about are extreme weight gain and intense bleeding vaginally. I know it's different for everyone, but I'm still nervous.

Can anyone help me feel better about this? I'm going to do it no matter what, I don't need to be scared anymore, someone please just make me not worry. Thanks!

I have a few randomly on my feet and ankles. I also have one on my upper thigh and two on my back. My dad thinks they are flea bites, but we only have one indoor cat and no one else in my family has these bites.

Could it be an allergic reaction to Mosquitos? They are mostly flat with maybe a tiny invisible bump in the middle...

The one in the picture is the only one with a lighter bump in the middle, the rest are solid pink/red and flat.

Hi! I am a seventeen year old female, I'm about 5'5'' tall, and I weigh just under 100 pounds. I am perfectly healthy, I eat right, I exercise, I do everything I'm supposed to do. I'm just really, really skinny.

I know there are certain diets you can go on to gain weight, but I have a slight problem. I have a lot of food allergies. I can't eat gluten, dairy or eggs, or soy. I'm also allergic to almonds and shellfish. I know that most of the diets people go on to gain weight are high in eggs and dairy, but I can't eat those things because they make me sick. I've tried to gain weight by eating more food, but I have a really fast metabolism and it doesn't work.

I also just recently went on birth control to help with my irregular periods. Today was my second day taking it. I've heard that it makes some girls gain a little bit of weight as a side effect, but I'm not noticing any changes yet... How soon will that start to kick in?

My main reason for wanting go gain weight is because I'm just really insecure about it. I have a thigh gap of course, and I always hear stuff like "only anorexic girls have thigh gaps" I'm not anorexic or bulimic, and it really makes me feel bad when people say stuff like that. I also tried doing squats to make my legs and butt bigger, but I had to stop doing them. I don't have any exercise equipment and nor can I spend money on any or go to a gym.

I'd really appreciate help from people who've gone through a similar experience.

Hi! So I have an appointment on Friday to go and get birth control pills. I've heard a lot of things about the pill though, and it's starting to freak me out! (I'm 17 years old, and my boyfriend and I have been together for near 6 months. We're ready for this.)

I'm not super concerned about the inevitable weight gain, since I'm suuuper skinny already. And I wouldn't mind having bigger boobs. And the abolishing acne thing is pretty cool...

Mostly I'm worried about the hormonal problems. I don't want to turn into a raging PMS monster! I don't want to be cranky all the time and snap at people for no reason! My boyfriend says that the pill will probably end my reign as "his only not crazy girlfriend"... but I don't want it to. I'm generally really low key, like I don't get mad or jealous easily and I hate drama. So will it maybe not affect me as much?

I also hate being nauseous. I don't want to deal with that AT ALL. Also the decreased sex drive? I mean. I don't really know what my sex drive is like... But I think I'm pretty okay with it how it is!

I'm also nervous for the appointment. Does a PAPsmear hurt? Or will they not do that if I haven't had sex already... My boyfriend has fingered me before, but our 'genitals' have never touched.

I'm also worried about STD testing... I've already had my mouth on his penis... but as far as I know, he's never been tested... Should we do that? I'm pretty sure he's had sex before.

I'm already quite skinny, and not necessarily in a bad way, since I eat a ton and just have a super fast metabolism, but lately I've been wanting to get more healthy looking. I've been doing squats to make my butt and thighs bigger, and it's been working, but I also want to get slightly more defined abs.

My stomach is already quite flat, but my abs don't show. It's just completely smooth. And I'm not looking to get a six pack or anything, I just want my abs to show a little bit more.

Is there any way to achieve this without losing any weight? My main problem is that I'm tall, which makes me look more skinny.

I'm a 5'6'' female that weighs 105 pounds (last I checked). I'm looking for a thorough explanation in my answer as well as possibly a link or two, from someone who has experience/ is credible.

I bought the L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner, and I LOVE it, but I can't find a way to sharpen it. Is there a special eyeliner sharpener that I have to buy for soft pencil eyeliner? Where can I get something that will sharpen it without smushing the point and ruining the pencil?
