For a while now, I have been experiencing vertigo when coming down in a vehicle from a high place - it can be after driving down from a mountain or when landing after a flight. I consulted an eyes, ear and throat doctor who sent me for an auditory examination. The results showed that my hearing is fine. At the doctor's suggestion, prior to such a trip, I take an antihistamine but it has not prevented the dizziness. I would appreciate any ideas as to what it could be and how to deal with it.
