Im a new rider going to take the safety course and hopefully get my m endorcement next week. need a bike that can commute over 100 miles round trip mostly freeway almost every day for work. I like the ninjas, does anyone have any exp or advice...im leaning more towards the 250 they seem more economical but i am concerned because some people say not enough power or speed.

I am currently in the army reserve i have 5 years left on contract then im IRR, after those 5 years can I re enlist to active duty if I want to? i am a 68w and if im a sgt. or staff sgt. could I keep my rank?

I am an army medic about to go to EMT or paramedic school, I am EMT B certified, I can bypass EMT-I and go for Paramedic, is there anybody out there with any advice? I have advanced training as a medic but are there any other major differences from EMT B and EMT I

My puppy has been coughing very severly the past few days, we took her to the vet after we first got her (she wasnt coughing) they gave us antibiotic to treat for URI and sent us on our way. she started coughing out of control about 4-5 days ago we took her to emergency vet on sunday but they said it was nothing and gave us cough medicine. now she is still coughing out of control, she just started throwing up foamy substance out of her mouth and she is very lethargic she just lays down. Could it have progressed to pnemuonia this quickly? and after one emergency trip to the vet that was like 200 bucks, can I wait till morning and take her to regular vet or should I take her tonight to emergency

Iam looking into buying a home defense weapon, leaning towards the shotgun. From what Ive researched a shotgun is better than a rifel in home defense in most peoples opinion. I have fired m-16s and a 240Bravo and 249 SAW but never a shotgun, I would like a 12 ga but im not sure how much kick it has into it, and im worried a 20 ga wont do the job, i dont want the guy to get up if I have to resort to using a gun, any advice appreciated

What happens from notice of deployment to actually leaving? and how long? and how are you notified? my current unit is in Iraq comming home soon(Reserve unit) and I got out of training not to long ago so will i just deploy next time they do or with another unit sometime before that?

Im in the Army Reserve now and my Unit is disbanding,, if theres no units around here to take me could i go active? or could i just go active anyway? what would happen to all my bonuses and incentives if i do active? would i Have to pay it back?

I have been in the Army reserve for a month now and its kinda lame,, im trying to get on with the fire dept but if that doesnt work then im thinking about active duty because my buddies i went to basic with are loving it,, my reserve unit is disbanding so would i have increased chance or better chance of being released to active duty from reserves i know it can be hard sometimes

Im looking at buying a chevy blazer tommorow tax title and all that crap total of 4,939.00,, 105 k miles pretty good shape,, few knicks in the paint but hey its 98 but overal looks good and feels good, took it to a mechanic and they said engine and transmission good,, but needs 2 tires and questionable life of A/C left,, do i have any room to negotiate or is this a pretty good deal?

I know theres a ton of factors in deciding the price but what would be my best bet, 19 years old, one fender bender, and three non-moving citations?
