I have an HP 2000-2b22DX Notebook PC that I got about two months ago. It's running Windows 8 with Kaspersky anti-virus. Sometimes (maybe 40% of the time) when I go to shut it down, set it to sleep, or set it to hibernate, it does not. The screen goes black but the power button and wifi button both stay lit and the fan stays on; it stays on like that indefinitely (or until it runs out of batteries, if it's unplugged). At a normal shut down the wifi light turns orange and then the computer turns off.

I've tried updating the BIOS, I've run anti-virus and spyware scans, and I've tried it both plugged in and unplugged.

They need to have fought against racism, sexism, heterosexism, or some other form of discrimination.

Examples would include Jackie Robinson, Muhammed Ali, and Billy Jean King (but I am looking for some beyond these).

When I pull up my list of start-up programs on my computer, this one comes up. I don't recognise it and would like to disable it (or delete it) but, if it is something important, I do not want to mess anything up. Could someone tell me what it is and if I can disable or delete it without issue, please?

I am currently going to school in Pittsburgh and my boyfriend is going to school in Bethlehem, and we're looking for a fairly inexpensive way to get from Allentown or Bethlehem, PA to Pittsburgh. Greyhound looks to be the best so far (about $100 for the round trip), but we're trying to find other ways as well.

Keeping in mind that we're college students of limited means, does anyone have any suggestions?
