I participated in the exchanges of discussions in blog pages of GMA News and made a negative comment directed to one of their news reporter who I considered as one who is too disrespectful to a person who is the President of Philippines. After I posted the comment the next time I know is they blocked me from posting more on their page, hahaha! so what.... and they are very vocal when their right to freedom of speech is curtailed. So ladies and gentlemen, what kind of media outfit is that... Media people should show respect to anyone when they make a commentary, I simply believe on the principle anyone can argue with one another without being disrespectful. In this manner, we promote trustworthiness and willingness as an enduring value. We can criticize anyone without being disrespectful too. When we involve ourselves in a discussion especially in a community blog our intention is to primarily promote understanding and love not resentment and hate. Media people should set a good example of an honest to goodness dissension every time and anytime they broadcast or write a commentary or news.
