So Im trying to work out on a semi-regular basis (starting out with 2X a wk). Right now, I run 30 min on the treadmill, alternating between 4mph and bursts of 5.5mph. I end up running 2miles in that 30 min.

My question: Which would be better to do in order to lose weight, run for 45 min instead of 30 at the same mph I've been doing OR going at a higher speed and completing 2.5-3 miles in 30 min? I can't do both right now, cause the 30 min workout is enough for me to handle right now (out of breathe)

I work in retail, so I have bad customers pretty often. But I have HORRIBLE customers every so often. The ones that make your blood boil. body shake, and (I guess cause I'm a girl) makes me want to just scream or cry. How do you release the stress from that? I don't want to eat or drink my problems away. Anyone have anything constructive they do to get their minds over it?

And if any ones interested, I'm asking b/c I just had a guy yell at me for asking him to get off of our store ladder.

I want to buy a new ipod and I'm stuck between which one I should get. I'm debating on the 1st generation ipod touch w/ 16GB or the 2nd generation ipod touch w/ 8GB. Based on your experience or knowledge, which would be a better buy?

I want to buy my mom a portable DVD player, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I can only afford about $100 or so. I know with this amount, I won't get the best, I'm just looking for something decent. Can anyone suggest a good brand? I heard Venterur wasn't too great and Coby was good...

On my check stub, there is a section titled CA wage penalty. I thought this section had something to do with a person working more then 5 but less than 6 hrs with out a lunch. I used to get extra hours on my check because of this, but they started subtracting hours to make up for the ones they gave me. Now, my job is just taking extra hours out of my check and charging me this penalty. What did I do?

I need some examples of great interviewers on tv, past or present. I'm kinda stuck, all I can think of is Barbara Walters and Larry King. Any other suggestions?

I'm 21 and I've been working in fast food and retail since I was 16. I have tons of customer service experience. I'm kind of looking for a job with not too much crappy customers (I know in most retail cases, it comes with the territory) and a good job foundation. Doesn't have to be retail again, but I figure that's all I can get since I'm in college and my schedule can get crazy. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!!
