  • What would you like to see the schools do as far as bringing discipline back into the school?

I know that corporal punishment and that very strict rules are very ugly words in today's society, yet I wonder if somehow, that is what is wrong with todays' rising school problems....

When I was in elementary school, all of the students eyed that paddle board nervously before they thought about doing something out of line.

Now, you have elementary second graders "bullying" their teachers.

I had one little rascal throwing pencils at other students and being a little turkey all day.

We already gave him special treatment for his ADHD trouble, but in the end, he was the boss of the class. If he was bored, no one else learned either.

If he knew that a teacher could send him to the principal for a paddling, he wouldnt be telling the teacher that he/she can't touch him, and he would have been more careful about his behavior.

Even more so, it would affect bullying in schools

most gun related crimes in school are not done by bad kids, but kids who have no other place to turn because they have already asked adults whose hands are tied to help them.

They get tired of being bullied, or they get scared, and then they kill the other kid, and because their fear and adrenaline is so high, they also kill any witnesses because they are not thinking clearly.

    Then who goes to jail?

The bully is dead or in the hospital. HE doesnt get punish for causing the problem except for the ouchy given to him by the victim. but the victim of the bullying goes to prison for basically defending himself.

    How is that fair?

If the bully knew that school principals could correct them harshly, they wouldnt bully so badly.

    What do you think?

I think that teachers should be given a free license to carry out discipline in their classroom without fear so long as that discipline doesnt ultimately harm the child.

there is nothing wrong with a little humiliation or embarrassment as it will put the student who is in the wrong back in his or her place.

What is this about the bathroom?

If the schools have fair passing times, then it isn't cruel to tell students to use the toilets during break!

It also doesnt hurt kids to wait upto an hour if they need to. Most people wait that long by themselves when they are doing other things that seem more important to them.

If the students can't wait, make sure to have clean clothes for them at school. It really doesnt hurt the person in the long run...

But don't make a child wait more than an hour, and base the waiting time on the age and development of the students in the class. Be fair!

    What do you think?

    Thanks

    Shane

  • Are there taboos about decent, cultured women saying certain things in public like ...?

Is it acceptable now for women to say that they are going to take a crap in mixed company? Do you think that it should be acceptable just because it is a natural body function?

Personally, I don't even like women to say that they want to go to the bathroom.

A long time ago, they used to say "powder my nose," or something like that. I mean, it wouldnt hurt if the guys also said something like, I need a private moment.

I think that the little things like this have led our society to the evil and dysfunctional state it is in today.

  • How can women, girls, and children be protected and protect themselves from Rape and other crime?

Can you agree with this? I think that we need to start thinking about our public places that might invite trouble, and make them safer.

I think, for example, that bathrooms should not be around the corner outside, but actually inside the department stores as close to a manned desk like customer service so that the employees can actually make sure that men are entering men's toilets and women and girls are entering the women's...

I think that husbands and men with loved members who are women should insist up on the women not being alone in public late at night...

It sounds sexist, but I think we can do a lot more than we do to protect our women and girls from violent crimes.

  • Why are we being so soft handed with our children at school, but throwing them in prison when they graduate?

When our children cry that a teacher scolded them or told them to sit down, "wise ***," we punish the teachers, and ignore why the teacher lost his cool, but our kids are leaving school with the idea that if they cry wolf, they can get their own way and they don't have any obligation to be good citizens. I say we take the restraints off and let the teachers really show and tell our kids what the real world is like, and tell them to shut up when they complain about small things like the teacher said *** rather than thinking about what they did to get the teacher in a foul mood.

We have an obligation to teach our youth how to really live in society, but everyone is afraid to do it because of law suits. There is a difference between abuse and teaching a lesson. Slap their wrists once in a while, and teach them to do what is acceptable, and we'll have less crime in the States.

What do you think about these ideas?

All answers are welcome though I would remind you that we are helping.
