I'm getting an honorable medical discharge, but I believe I'm still In iet status (I've been in the navy for 9 months though, I have a year and a half long a school). Will I still get my gi bill?

I'm leaving for bootcamp in two days, and I'm starting to worry that the rate I picked will have me stuck in the U.S. doing office work (CTI) I know its a semi difficult rate to get, but I'm wondering if it'd be too late to switch out of it to something else.

I passed the DLAB killed the ASVAB and now I'm wondering what my life will actually be like as a Navy CTI. Will it be interesting? Will I get to travel? Will I have fun? Are there any CTIs out there that could tell me how they personally feel about their job? I just haven't talked to anyone in my field and I'm wondering if I made the right choice.

so i'm enlisted in teh navy, due to ship out jan 21. My mother doesn't want me to go, and to make a long story short, has insisted i unenlist. i don't want to but at the same time, i dont want to kill her. so i'm hoping that maybe they won't let me unenlist? what are the odds of that?

So I wouldn't normally talk about this kind of stuff on here. My period has been about two weeks long. There's nothing really unusual about it except for the length of it. I'm wondering if anyone thinks this could be related to my being on depo provera? I've never had a period this long and its really starting to annoy me. Should I make an appointment with a doctor?

what are the odds of us getting to see each other, or being stationed at the same base. also where do you live when you're not on a ship?

I'm CTI, and I really don't know much about that field, and my recruiter couldn't tell me very much about it... the only thing i've heard is that on my friends boat they called us spooks becuase we never see the light of day. Now I'm afraid I picked a bad job. Any input?

My boyfriend lives about forty five minutes away, and because of our hectic scheduals we only see each other about once a week. I text him occasionally during the day and call him probably two or three times a week, but for some reason I feel like I'm crowding him- like I need to give him more space. But really, if I give much more space, we won't even be dating anymore. So I don't know what to do.

Also, I feel like I'm not really a priority in his life. He's not very open, and I can't read him to save my life, so I have no idea what's going on in his head, and if I ask him he always manages to answer in a way that really isn't an answer at all. This sort of eats at me.

I really like him (I'm hesitant to use the word love), but he keeps doing really stupid siht. Like for instance, he broke my heart and told me he wanted to join the Military. I cried, got over it, and then became super supportive (I'm helping him study for his test, train, etc.) But then, tonight, he goes and gets high when he knows he has to pass a physical (with a drug test) to join the military. And the other day we were making plans and he told me he would figure out what time we should get together but then he got drunk and forgot to tell me... Also, he's very introverted- now I'm not saying I want him to pour his heart out to me, but I take a genuine interest in his life, and it would be nice if he'd let me be there for him. I'm so incredibly nice to him and I do so much for him but I'm starting to feel like I am being taken for granted. So I don't know what to do. Should I just end it?

I'm just wondering a) how fit do you have to be? b) what can girls do? and c) how long do I have after I enlist before I'm shipped off to boot camp (if the Navy has that)?

he's my english professor and I want to get him something nice and appropriate and what not. he's in his twenties.

She just ruined a 280 dollar coat, and she lost my tiffany's necklace (that she took without permission) that my boyfriend gave me! What should I do about her? I lock my stuff up, but she'll tell my mom she needs in my room becuase she can't find something of hers and then come in and steal my things. Or, sometimes, she'll pick the lock! I'm moving out soon, but I just bought a 870 dollar dress and if she ruins that I may just have to kill her! Its not like she has a job so I can't make her pay me back- what can I do?!
