  • Do I need a wedding ring?

I have a nontraditional engagement ring. It is a white gold band, molded into leaves and swirls with diamonds inlaid in it. The thing is, you could make a custom ring to go with it, but I think that would look funny. Because it would either make it very wide, and I have small fingers, or I could get a set stone or something, but that would look more like a traditional engagement ring which I've never liked anyway.

My fiance spent a lot of time and effort finding the perfect ring for me because I don't normally like wearing jewelry (and he's not normally a sentimental guy) so the meaning behind this ring is very special.

I REALLY love my engagement ring, and I'm NOT a materialistic person in the least. So, do I really need to get a new ring, or can my husband-to-be just give me the same one with new vows and commitments on our wedding day?

    Thanks!

  • He says I don't do enough for him?

Last night my partner and I had sex for the first time in a bit (we've both had colds and started new jobs, so our sex life has taken a back seat the past month or so) Anyway, after we had sex, we were relaxing on the bed a bit chatting and he made a comment about how I never do things for him anymore, specifically, that I hadn't given him a bl0w job in over a month.

And quite honestly, I was pretty offended by this. I am a VERY generous person, I am constantly doing small things for him, like picking up his favorite ice cream from the store without being asked, or ordering him $100 worth of books from Amazon on a topic he's been wanting to know more about, or giving him back massages when his muscles get tight... All in all, I think I'm a pretty good, considerate partner. And yeah, I hadn't offered to blow him for a bit. But was he really justified in bringing it up?

I told him then that he hadn't asked for one either, to which he responded "I was just kind of hoping you would offer"

All I can keep thinking is "Seriously?!? I don't do enough, now I have to offer you one sided sexual pleasure on top of everything else?" Because the thing is (long story--short) We have two types of sexual experiences, sex, where we both get something out of it, and blow jobs, which are strictly for him. And sometimes I do feel like giving them, so occasionally I do offer, but to be honest, when things are a little dry overall, I DONT offer because that means that I don't get any pleasure for twice as long (I have more drive then him, so that's a whole other issue).

I don't know, I'm not really sure why this is bothering me so much, but it really is. But before I brought it up with him again, I figured I'd get a few other opinions...

  • How tall will my sulcata tortoise get?

I have a 3.5 year old sulcata, he's about 5 inches long and I'm in the process of making him a new tortoise table. But I wanted to make it two levels. I am planning on 2 ft high sides, with 6-8 in. of substrate, that leaves me 16-18 inches-- is this enough space to ad a shelf and ramp for a second level basking area? Also, I have found many good examples of sulcata tables online, but all of them are for multiple tortoises. I am planning on a 4ftx4ft table-- plus a 2x4 upper level if I have the vertical space. Is this enough room for just one, or do I need to go bigger/ different dimentions. Thanks!
