I bought several c.d.s for a dollar in c.d. bin at a record store in Dubuque, Iowa but I haven't lived there in nearly a decade so that was around 10 years ago at least. I gave all my c.d.s to Goowill around 5 yearso ago when I moved to Moline, IL. Some headbanger hit the jack pot that day or probably several of them as I had close to 1,000 c.d.s.

I was at a retail store earlier and they asked me for the zip code of my residence and then for my phone number. The young lady at the register assured me I would not be called and my number would not be sold I still refused to give my ohone number because they would use my phone number for marketing to identify me. The girl said no problem and said she would just enter a random phone number for me.

Of course I was stoned when this happened and thus my question for you is was I being paranoid or was I just stoned?

My parents have always lived in Iowa and overall they have the general American accents as nearly everyone does in this part of the country but they have a few regional dialects like almost everyone does. For example these are examples or alternate word usage than a difference in speech but they both call a can of soda a pop as almost everyone does in this part of the country, except me I call them sodas because I'm weird. The real reason for this question though is that my Dad talks about "warshing things in the zink" instead of "washing them in the sink" and this is not really uncommon around here. Some people also call blue jeans overalls for some weird reason. Why does my dad say warsh and zink while other people in his home city don't all do that including me, my mother and some of his brothers and sisters?

I have always been uncomfortable talking one on one or in small groups with people I don't know but I have no problem speaking to a crowd of any size. In fact I enjoy public speaking even though I am fairly shy and I am definitely more introverted than extroverted.

I can buy that some idiot might think it is a good idea to put a rose in a fisted glove, people are weird you never know what they might do, but I don't buy an eagle and dove are hanging out. The eagle would be more likely to eat the dove than fly with it.

I hear slow minded members of both major parties that want the 1st amendment to be nullified in one way or the other every day on here. Many a slow minded liberal would love to get rid of the 2nd amendment. I don't hear anyone pushing to end the 3rd amendment currently but the police have been wiping their asses with the 4th amendment for decades. The 5th amendment appears to be safe, for now anyway, but as slow minded as the masses are it wouldn't take much for your political leaders to get you on board with this! The right to a speedy trial also appears to be safe currently but just throw the word "terrorist" in there and you slow minded cons will want to throw out the 6th amendment. The right to a jury trial I could easily see you slow minded masses thinking was not needed if they throw the word terrorist in there yet again. The 8th and 9th amendments are also not currently in danger but could be if the politicians that lead the slow minded American sheople use the word terrorist. The 10th amendment many slow minded anti-cannabis folk would like to throw out because you don't like states rights.

I doubt Trump will even get the Republican nomination in the end. Wouldn't you think billionaires would have more of an advantage than they actually do?

I think most billionaires have enough power the presidency is of no interest to them. You will never see Bill Gate or Warren Buffet run for president for example.
