  • Table tennis - can I remove rubbers from a blade and put them on a new blade?

    Hi all,

I played a little table tennis years ago, and bought a bat with expensive rubbers. I've recently started playing again just recreationally, and I found out my old bat but I hate the way it feels - all the weight is at the top of the bat where the rubbers are.

What I'd like is to take off the rubbers and put them on a blade that is more evenly weighted in the handle. Is it possible to do this without ruining the rubbers? Also, does anyone have any tips for a decent-weighted blade that is quite cheap?

    Many thanks!!

  • My flatmate has a serious body odor problem.?

I believe this is caused by poor hygeine. We live in a house of polite individuals, and none of us has the guts to tell him he has a problem. He's an intelligent guy, but he is quite shy and has poor social skills. I have pondered with the idea of telling him about it, but I'm worried about how badly he might take it, and I think it might be for my benefit (for having to put up with the smell), rather than his. I can't understand how he hasn't noticed.

I would welcome ideas on how to get him to sort it out without hurting his feelings. I would also really appreciate anyone who has had his problem offering their insight, as I don't understand it at all.

    Many thanks
