Hello.

I'm at a loss, and really confused. My girlfriend decided the other day that she needs to be single, figure out who she is as an individual, learn to love herself again. I'm completely understanding of all of that. What has me in a tough spot is she doesn't want me to leave, move out, or anything of that nature. Says she still wants me there, as a friend. I've pulled away, and asked her if she could feel that I have. She says she can but that she likes it because she can tell I've pulled away, but I still care (which obviously I do otherwise I wouldn't still be trying to make this new gig work).

I'm wanting to know if you have had a similar situation and how it turned out?

My heart hurts knowing the situation, knowing she still loves me and cares for me, and wants me in her life. The not romantically/intimately is what's hard.

In the past, my instinct has always told me to run, run, run. But I don't feel like I can just run out on her, I don't want to. At least I think I don't.

Please, give me honest input, no bashing, just truth in it's kindest form if possible.

I'm a 23y/o female. I've been with men up until now. Over the last few months I've taken more and more of an interest in women. Has anyone had this sort of thing happen? What was that first experience like in comparison to all the ones you had with a man previously. Was it something that wound up feeling more right than ever imaginable? I'm a freshmen in college, but I recently got back in touch with a boy I used to go to school with, I'm talking like we were in the same kindergarten class, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We went years without talking and things have been going really good now that we've started talking. I was just wondering if anyone knew any quotes that could relate to this. Two or three weeks ago, I went on facebook and started adding people from my class roster that way when tests come around I could just post a status to see if anyone wanted to study. One of the guys who accepted the add messaged me asking who I was, we messaged back and forth for a few hours and exchanged numbers. We text a lot, at least once a day. We have started hanging out more, but just like watching tv, or going to the cafeteria on campus, or making walmart runs. He doesn't say much in text, but in person he has all kinds of stories to tell me. We have not done anything(hug, kiss, any of that) but I know I am starting to like him, or at least I know I have interest. He has never said no to hanging out and sometimes asks to hang out, which I would think is a good sign. I even had to show him how to use the washer the other night, it was quite funny telling him what to do. I don't want to run this one off, does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do or say? I'm starting to get anxious from wanting to know whether or not I'm wasting my time.

I'm writing an informative paper on paranormal investigating, and I was wanting to know if I could include a personal experience. Also what would you like to see in the paper if you were going to be reading it?

I'm using this basically as an interview. I'm writing an informative paper on how drugs can affect a family. I need to put in other cases and not just my own.

It's affected mine like this:

My 30+ year old aunt has been a drug abuser for over 10 years. She is in and out of the streets, the youngest of three girls, and the only one who has managed to stay with drugs. About three years ago she had a baby, my grandparents now take care of him and she is a mom when she wants to be. His dad is not in the picture and got his oldest son thrown behind bars while teaching him how to deal drugs. My aunt also has been in a situation where she had to call my grandmas partner to go pay a dealer a fixed amount of money, her life was on the line. My step dad has driven around my home town and seen her on a street corner. But around our family? She acts as if nothing is wrong and she is just completely clean. She's been in rehab multiple times as well.

My uncle lost many of his siblings to drug related killings. Just a week ago he found his younger brother dead in his car in the drivers seat, he had been stabbed.

What are your stories?

It was the best asparagus I've ever had, the texture was perfect, and they served it with grape tomatoes also, it was not hot, it was chilled, I think it may have been steamed. help?
